+ The Moral of the Untold Story +

[ On the morning of the twenty-second of April an envelope will arrive for Wonderland's inhabitants. It is written by hand, addressed to each individual by their name, and titled helpfully with an informative subject line. ]

YOU ARE ALL BENEATH ME.

[ Shockingly enough the letter includes no return address. ]

[Ahhh, another valid (but certainly not respected) opinion from someone who thinks that they have every right to their power and to the fealty of others.

Athos takes one look at his morning post before accidentally-on-purpose letting it brush through a lit candle's flame on the common room table.

It crumples and curls into ash.

[Well, how does it feel to have something akin to his own words thrown in his face? Ridiculous, actually. Too bad that big green monster wasn't around to put in his nice little reply for whomever wrote this lovely note. For now, he'll just roll his eyes and deposit the delightful little piece of parchment into the nearest waste receptacle like a proper citizen. Followed by a violently concussive pulse of magic that sends said bin flying off in some haphazard direction. Mild temper tantrum? Perish the thought!]

If they haven't the audacity to speak those words to my face, they are but the words of a coward.

[And he'll resume his daily routine of being a creeper on the network and sipping a cup of tea.]

[Yes, let's further provoke Annie. That's all Wonderland needs.

She took the letter, stared at it and was instantly provoked to anger. She took the note and crushed it into her fist until her knuckles were white. There was nothing for her to say, but the person who delivered this letter was going to get a very special kind of beating.]

[He reads it and just rolls his eyes.]

Lovely to see there's something resembling post here.

[And this particular piece of mail is just going in the trash, thanks.]

[Well, isn't that just the cherry on top of the odd ice cream sundae that was his first day here. He's going to take it as an invitation or a warm welcome. Maybe he's in a colony of nudists or some hedonists.

It's a cheerier thought than knowing that it is a threat and that the free food and board come at a steep price.

He's going to keep it on his person for a while until he figures out where it came from.

[ hahahahaha cursive. how about n o p e. this is what clarisse sees:

yeah. she's not even gonna try to read that. the most she got out of it is a few words here and there and pig. but of course she can read the word pig, her father's damn symbol is a boar, so at least her brain lets her read that much. not that it means much of anything to her.

and, you know, she doesn't like being insulted via fancyass script she can't even read. so she's going to take your fancy letter and crush it beneath her boot until it rips into little shreds of parchment. then, just for good measure, she spits on it. who's beneath who now? ]

Next time, why don't you say it to my face and see where that gets you.

[ He takes his time opening the letter, examining the paper and the seal. He reads it, eyebrows quirking up and a smirk curling up. He turns the paper over to see if there's anything else, and then folds it back to how it was before tearing it in half and throwing it into the waste-paper basket.

Well, so much for that. ]
