Wonderland brings us here or sends us home on its whim. The Mansion eats our memories one word or phrase at a time.

Meaning - the longer we remain, the less we will remember of our homes? [Everything is already feeling distant - distorted. It startles her to imagine them disappearing completely.]

[Minato nodded, then explained more.]

It'll take a while, but that's the idea. If the Mansion decides to take one of your memories, it'll project it onto everyone here, and we all experience it.

Damn intrusive. [She growls tiredly.] Some memories shouldn't be shared.

The Savior can't be an angel. That would be ridiculous. The Chosen One is a human, of course.

Are there rules? [She must have missed those.] I was a human.

[But now... Well, she has inhuman powers and she's technically over five hundred years old.]

Maybe not in your world. In mine the Chosen One was a baby saved by an Archangel. They say he will turn up and show us the way. [He showed up and showed them some things alright, though William isn't going to speak ill of that person until they're around to defend themselves.]

That's how my religion goes. It gives the people something to look forwards for.

[It's interesting to think the terms might apply to other worlds. She wonders if there are even more gods that don't interact with Etro or Bhunivelze. If so, they're not very creative with the titles they give their guardians.]

There is no future for my world. The end stands before those left on Nova Chrysalia and I only have days to gather their souls for the new world.

[She looks thoughtful about the last bit.]

My slumber lasted for five hundred years. Then, when I woke, I was given powers to fulfill my mission.
