So you know that whole thing about where if you have enough monkeys and enough typewriters in a room, they'll eventually come up with Shakespeare?
[No, it's not exactly how the theory goes, but the intent is there. Especially coming from a teenaged girl who looks more frustrated with things than anything else.]
That kind of feels like what we've got going on now, except we're not getting Romeo and Juliet. [At least hasn't been. All Zatanna has ended up with is a seemingly useless divining rod, and a couple of pictures. She's given it a few days, weighed out the risks, but with the Duchess's second announcement, she decides to take the chance by making the broadcast.]
I know everyone's trying to be super careful because of the Mirrors, but is anyone actually comparing notes? Not just what we figure out from the riddle, but what we find when we go out looking. Maybe a couple of us together would be closer than we think.
Like, if anyone knows who the "first in line" is? That might be pretty helpful.
[Yep, she's definitely setting herself up. Zatanna knows it, but she's also prepared. It's why she's broadcasting from a nondescript room rather than her own, and why she's got her guard up when she goes out. She'll swing by the library; might as well see if the people focused on the words have found anything more, and to try and help out if she can. Other than that, she's mostly just going to wander around. One wild goose chase made of several circles is more than enough for her, thanks. She's willing to try again, but only when there's something more definitive to go on.]
