[A curious and very confused Faye Valentine finds herself walking through a lush maze of greenery. More than a little annoyed that her ship is nowhere to be found, she pouts dramatically as she walks. The communicator she'd discovered in her pocket isn't hers, but somehow it's easy enough to get the hang of.

Home doesn't exist anymore, but this isn't anywhere near where she last remembers being. Wanting answers, she takes out the communicator. There has to be someone within range of this thing's reception. Smiling, Faye dons a sweet voice, tinged with a hint of seduction.]

Hi!

I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm a little lost and I was just wondering if there was someone out there who might be able to help me? You see, I woke up in a forest and have no idea where I am. So if you could just point me in the right direction, I'd be very appreciative.

[She pauses and waits for a response, and after an eternity of waiting, ~~like, at least six seconds,~~ her sugar melts.]

Hello? Can anyone hear me?

It'd be easier if it weren't for this hedge maze. If I'd known it was a maze, I'd have gone around it.

[ Or potentially die trying. You seem hot enough for the sacrifice. Thankfully, Buck's good at the whole walking really fast to meet an impossible timeline, but the problem is the hedge maze more than the walking. Being Wonderland and all, he's concerned just how hard this maze is to conquer. Hell, for all he knows it might shift around just to be an ass!

The best course seems to be up and over. The walls of this maze aren't exactly made for climbing; something he finds out when he keeps breaking branches and falling back on his ass, all of which is caught on the audio of his device. Nice. When he can find a patch strong enough to hold him all the way to the top, he figures he should try and signal to get an idea of where she can be, ]

[ Yup, pulling out the sophisticated recon skills here. ]

[She thought she'd heard some rustling somewhere, and that 'Marco' sounds a lot closer than she'd expected. And she hadn't expected it at all.]

Dgt!

[She steps back to see over the hedge just beside her, and spots the face of the charmer one hedge corridor away.]]

Oh! Hey, doll!

[ That's sure easy. He was afraid they would be playing this game for awhile. Of course they would have to walk out of here, though. She doesn't seem the acrobatic type, but he's been proven wrong before.

He disappears for a moment then launches himself over the hedge to make his way to her. ]

Well, you've now been rescued! Or... at least found. Baby steps, I guess...

[She watches him hop over one hedge, and steps aside, ready for him to leap the next one to get to her.]

It's a start.

[ One more huff! and he's over the last hedge like a monkey. Landing beside her, he rights himself and smiles up with that winning smile that's been bleeding American's poor for years. Your money went to good causes, people! Fear not. ]

Bucky Barnes, Miss! Now let's get outta here. There's a nice room in the mansion with your name on it.

[She's only a little dubious of that face, but the mention of the room catches her attention.]

[She's still not even sure of where she is, so moving in right off the bat seems a bit extreme.]

A room?

Don't ask. It'll just make your pretty head hurt. Sure made mine. This place is... [ Well, may as well just get to it. ] You ever hear a' Wonderland?

[She almost objects to the implication that her pretty head would hurt, but she lets it slide. What follows derails the thought, anyway.]
