Steven Universe | That show that's named after him

[ This... was probably not beach city. Steven was pretty sure there wasn't a fancy mansion with a garden but then again he can't really remember how he got here in the first place so maybe there's a warp pad around so he can get home. Not that he's worried or anything! Definitely not! He's fully prepared even though he doesn't even have his cheeseburger backpack. He walks a around a little, curious about this weird new place that doesn't really have any telltale weird Gem architecture. ]

Garnet? Amethyst? Pearl? Where are you guys? Where am I?

[ He wanders a bit more until he finds an open window and peers inside, nose and eyes poked over the top of the frame before he scrambles up over and sill and falls ungracefully onto the floor of the hallway. ] Oof! Geez... where are they?

Oh! [ Into his pockets he goes and digs out his cell phone! Except... ] Aw, whaaaat? No bars! I thought that was impossible!

[ After that his wandering gets a more frantic purpose as he runs down the hall and occasionally pulls open a door to check to yell for one of the Gems or his Dad or even Connie. Maybe he rips open your door, maybe he runs into someone barreling down the hall. ]

[ Everything seems about normal in the Wonderland kitchens, except perhaps for Steven running around energetically in an effort to create an even better together breakfast. One that wouldn't try to hurt anyone. If there was any way to really get to know someone it was too share a delicious breakfast with them. He's arranged a fantastic combination of pancakes, blueberry pie filling, whipped cream and gummy bears into a stack that just barely stays standing. ]

Hmm... perfect! Now I just need...

[ Aha! Another person! He's runs up to whatever hapless person has wandered into the kitchen. ]

Hi there! Want some together breakfast!

[Amethyst is in the kitchen making macaroni and cheese, with extra cheese powder and gravy on top. She's almost done, just getting to the finishing touch: the final topping of molasses. She's standing there holding the bottle of molasses completely upside down, shaking it, even tapping the bottom in hopes it'll make it go faster. If she wasn't fully committed to eating what she'd envisioned in her mind she would have given up on it by now.]

Come on, get on the food already...

[But then the door bursts open, and she drops the bottle in surprise, cracking it open on the tile and slowly... very slowly spilling molasses all over the floor.]

--Aw man, it broke! Wait...

[She takes another look at the person who just burst into the kitchen, and squints. She's seeing things, right?]

Amethyst!

[ Steven runs over to her, full of relief because if Amethyst is here then it has to be a Gem Thing, right? Right?? He sidesteps the molasses and goes in for a hug because he was really freaked out. ]

Where are we, anyways? It doesn't look like Gem stuff and there are humans here and-

[ He stares at her for a moment because something is definitely different here... ]

Why are you in your old outfit again?

Steven, it's really you! [She hugs back, just as glad to see him. If anyone came from home, she would have wanted it to be Steven. He's kind of the best.]

Uh, it might be gem stuff? I'm not totally sure... Wait, what? [Old outfit? What does he mean? She hasn't changed outfits in a long time.] What do you mean? This is what I always wear.

[Garnet's just arrived, and while her future vision is...limited, it's given her enough to know where Steven is. Which is good enough.

She smirks when Steven calls out to her without looking. He's always so good at making the best of situations.]

I would have thought you wouldn't like those after last time.

[ Together Breakfast 2.0 gets set on the counter so Steven can go in for a hug without getting blueberry goop all over everything. Normally he wouldn't mind but Together Breakfast also had to be protected so nothing could possess it again. ]

This is a new one, though! It's pancakes and blueberries and gummy bears and none of those have tried to kill us. It's a clean slate. Or maybe I should say a... clean plate?

[She ruffles his hair then looks up and around, disappointed to see that he really is alone in here.]

Steven? [This is... this isn't good. Connie's parents don't even know she's been doing magic stuff with Steven. How will they react if they find out she ended up caught in another dimension? And how will she even get back? The Gems use that warp pad, but she hasn't seen anything like that!

But there's Steven barreling down the hall. It's a start. If Steven's around, things aren't nearly as bad as if she's alone.] Steven!

[She steps in his path, grabbing his hand.]

Where are we? Is this a Gem thing?

[ Momentum is hard to lose once it's been built up so admittedly Steven bounces off Connie a bit before he finally stops. ]

Connie! [ He grabs her hand with both of his quickly, glad that he knows someone else here. It's scary being in a weird place alone. He's used to weird with company after all. ]

I don't think it's a Gem thing, usually there's more ruins and stones growing out of stuff when it's that. Are you okay, though? Did anything attack you?

Besides your lack of breaks? [She shakes her head.] No, nothing's attacked me, it's just... [She looks around, frowning slightly.] Well, it's oddly familiar. But not like somewhere I've been. Like somewhere I've read about.

[Oh my god that is a lot of pancake and excitement in his face. Dipper looks at the pancakes like he's not sure whether he's supposed to eat them or if they're going to eat him.]

I was... planning on just having a snack bar or something.

[ Together Breakfast isn't prone to eating things except when it's possessed by an eldrith spirit of evil. So as long as Bill stays away it's safe! ]

Aww but that's no fun! [ Snack bars were like... adult things. Like something Peedee would eat before working at the fry counter. ] And Together Breakfast is really fun! 'Cause it's shared!

But they're nice and portable and then I can keep exploring this place! [Dipper waves his arm around the room.] I'm trying to uncover all of Wonderland's secrets! I don't have time for breakfast!

Steven covers his mouth at the blasphemy against his most favorite of meals. ]

But it's breakfast! The most important meal of the day! There's always time for breakfast!

I'm still having it! Just... way more efficiently. [He shrugs.] Why's it matter so much anyway? I'm sure someone will eat with you. Heck, I could call up my sister. She'd probably enjoy that... combination of foods.
