I guess anything's more interesting than just standing around and waiting for someone to actually give up their memories to you. Except, I've never seen those guys like... do anything else. They kind of just stand there. All the time.

[Stan squints at them too. Ugh. Just what he needs - more freaky supernatural crud.]

Pretty sure they make my point for me - who would seriously give up their memories to those weirdos anyway? I'm not even sure they count as people, let alone legitimate men of business.

I bet I could get 'em to laugh. Or cry. Or yell. Something. [Her squint turns into a determined stare.

And then she picks up a rock and throws it at one of them.]

[Her throw pelts one of them in the mask, but it just bounces off and much like the Royal Guard, the Vendor doesn't react.]

Ha! You owe me ten bucks whenever we get currency in this dump.

[It wasn't a monetary bet before, but it sure is now. Either way, this is imitable behavior that Stan can get behind, so he picks up a rock himself and chucks it at the vendor...

[Making fun of the elderly is terrible and she should be deeply ashamed. ...But not really. Actually throwing someone sounds kind of fun.]

We could try punching 'em. They look pretty punchable to me. [And he punches a fist against his palm to emphasize this.]

Ehh, you can punch 'em. I don't think I should be punching people if I can help it. [Even Amethyst has a line she doesn't cross. And apparently throwing a rock is free game, but punching isn't? It makes sense to her, okay.]

Either way, if throwing a rock doesn't do anything, punching probably won't. Maybe I can... scare 'em! [At that, Amethyst transforms into a very large and very toothy werewolf, growling and barking at the vendors.]

[Stan's not expecting that at all and he definitely startles, taking a few hurried steps back. But he settles soon enough, since it's apparently still Amethyst. (The vendors, meanwhile, don't react at all to the barking and growling. Apparently werewolves don't scare them much.)]

Huh. ...Neat parlor trick you got there.

[His first thought is that she must be a shape-shifter (but probably not a very good one since she's still purple) and his second thought, immediately after that, is that she would make him a ton of cash as an attraction at the Shack.]

[The werewolf calms down after a short while, looking disappointed.] Man, I totally thought that would at least make 'em flinch.

[She transforms back and grins at Stan.] Got you, though! Haha!

[He makes a bit of a face, not wanting to admit that she spooked him. It's quickly gone though, replaced by a grin.]

Hey - ever thought about a career in show biz? With a trick like that you'd prolly make a fortune!
