He knew, of course, that Stan was here. He knew the instant Stan arrived, another delightful playing card from the deck in Gravity Falls, shuffled around by the whim of cosmic irony.

When the shyster gets tired of yelling the triangle is there to warm his spirits, if by 'warm' the narration means 'startle' and by 'spirits' the narration means 'casual con artist.']
