[Stan is too caught up in his angry muttering to catch her crazy muttering about birds and fresh meat, but he definitely hears someone call him a proper gentleman and that sure gets his attention fast. He straightens his posture and looks around...

...And there's a woman nearby. An older woman certainly, but a woman who must have been lovely in her youth - and definitely a woman who looks like she might've come from money, which is more than enough for Stan at this point. Pickings get kinda slim when you and everyone your age are a bunch of wrinkled old prunes.

At first he wonders if she was talking to someone else but nope, he's the only gentleman here. So, with a grin, he heads over to commiserate with her.]

I know, right? It's enough to make a guy wonder how those knuckleheads turn a profit at all!

[It's definitely not a good business model at all. They'd get laughed out of town in a minute where he's from -- though, then again, the Society of the Blind Eye might be kinda into it.]

So, uh. ...They give you an attitude about currency too? 'Cause y'know-- they're even ruder if they're turnin' away a worldly woman like yourself.

[That...sure was a lot of gesturing at nothing. But mention of a fine house and people throwing things at her feet puts dollar signs in his eyes, and that's just as good as hearts, right? Sure it is!

He shakes his head, tsking at these invisible people who have wronged her.]

That's downright cruel! They oughta know better than to ignore such a high class lady. [Then, a dramatic sigh on her behalf, all for show.] Don't those jerks know how to treat a woman?

[How you should treat a woman is apparently directly tied to how much is in her bank account, if Stan is anything to go by. So maybe she's a little crazy, but he can put up with a lot of crazy if he thinks he's gonna get money out of it.]
