That's not exactly true. I mean, I'm pretty sure the deal is they can get you anything. [Except people. Not that Dipper ever tried that one. He sure didn't think about doing it when Mabel vanished. Nope. Not for a second.

Still, he's pretty sure there's nothing Stan owns that would be worth a whole memory for him. Money's worthless in here and he could get as much as he wanted from the closets, and what else would he need? The Rock that Looks Like A Face? Old Goldie?]

Still probably not worth getting your head messed with, though.

Kid, you oughta know better after living with me for half a summer - just 'cause they say they can get you anything doesn't mean they actually can or will. There's literally nothin' here stopping them from taking whatever memory they want and leaving you with squat, and you can't even demand a refund 'cause you won't know what the heck they took.

[It takes a lot to scam a conman though, and they're going to have to do a lot better than that to hook Stan. ...Either that, or Stan's going to have to get real desperate.]

If it's too good to be true, it prolly is. Besides, what kind of idiot would trust those creeps with their brain anyway? I mean, just look at 'em! They're freaks! They're freaks of nature!

Let's... just go. [Dipper tugs at Grunkle Stan's arm. He's pretty sure the vendors don't care about being yelled at. He's also pretty sure he'll eventually be going there himself to try and figure out something to do to deal with Bill. He doesn't want to risk pissing them off. Maybe he can talk them into taking a bad memory or something, but Grunkle Stan's yelling probably won't improve his odds.]

I don't think anything that involves losing a memory is too good to be true. That's already pretty bad.

[Stan just rolls his eyes and lets Dipper pull him away, taking his arm back after a moment or two. He doesn't care whether they like being yelled at or not - someone ought to be yelling at them and if Stan has to be that someone he's more than willing.]

That's what I'm sayin'! They're even bigger crooks than I am!

[He sounds...a lot more offended by that than he probably should be. But hey, he takes pride in being the biggest scam artist in town!]

At least someone is. [Dipper grumbles, rolling his eyes. Grunkle Stan's shady side can either be fun or just frustrating depending on how Dipper's feeling at any given moment. Right now, it's frustrating. Who's to say how tomorrow will feel? At least he doesn't do the responsible adult thing and keep Dipper out of trouble.]
