Dream action, backdated.
[Zuko now has everything he's ever wanted, which is quite sad, really, because nothing he has in his dream world is real, and he understands that. He sits, legs crossed, at the turtleduck pond in the palace gardens. He has no scar, and his hair is tied back neatly in a much more royal style. The young man seems conflicted. Idly he feeds the hybrid animals. His mother, for the moment, isn't with him.]
SPARKLES! CAMERA! ACTION
One second later he also realised that he didn't even remotely care.
And so he steps merrily into the next world. ]
Ahh, now this looks so much more presentable.
[ A curious look at the boy. ]
I do remember you, don't I? Last October on the beach? Though I can't recall your name or if you ever gave it.

Uh..I think so.
..I'm Zuko.
[But wait a damn second..]
How'd you get in here?
[This is his dream!!]
no subject
[ Another look around, especially one at the turtleducks. ]
But I'm rather more intrigued by the where than the how, perhaps you would care to enlighten me?
no subject
You're in the Fire Nation palace..well..the fake version this place made..

[ He saunters along the edge of the pond, eyes on the peculiar animals. ]
To iron out the little hiccups of reality?
no subject
[Master of conversation, yup.]

[ He looks at the boy curiously. ]
Tell me then, what is your role in this suspiciously calm palace?
no subject
I'm the crown prince..
..or I was.
1/2

My apologies, I had no idea.
no subject
It's fine..not like it even matters here.

[Yeah, he isn't that dumb. He knows where they are.]
no subject
And so! A slightly different line of questioning: ]
The Fire Nation or this Fire Nation?
[ He gestures around them. ]
im late sorry bbbbb
NO WORRIES NO WORRIES
[ Secretly he is also hoping for an explanation why a prince could possibly be so glum, but hey, first things first. ]
no subject
Hey.
[He kept his voice quiet unsure if Zuko would be mad at interupting his peace and quiet.]
no subject
Uh..hey.
no subject
Never seen animals like this before.
no subject
[He tosses a hunk of bread to a duck, which snaps it up happily.]
no subject
[Then he looks around the area curiously.]
So..this is what the fire nation looks like?
no subject
[Well, sort of..]
Yeah, but..it was never this peaceful.
no subject
[He pauses a second unsure what to say before sighing.]
Thanks for telling me about the whole death thing when I first arrived.
[He died almost immediatly after though.]

[He tosses a hunk of bread to one of the ducks.]
Most of the events are dangerous. Really dangerous. It's worth knowing that you can't die.
[action] and the award for the most late tag ever goes to
He honestly doesn't know what to expect, either. His dream world was actually pretty pleasant. That was probably a joke on the mansion's part, though, because when it was time to go, he almost couldn't do anything. Having your girlfriend beg you to stay is really, really difficult, even if she's just fabricated by the mansion. And that's why, with the most awkwardness ever, he's trying to find Zuko in his dream world. Hey, maybe he can stop somebody from dying this time.
And when he finds the guy, he's leaning against a tree for the longest time. This is going to be so, so awkward. Really, he might not be able to handle it. He peeks out from behind the tree. Okay, Sokka. You can do this. He slips out from behind the tree and clears his throat.]
Uhh. Hiii?
[action] yo
Uh..
..Hey?
[action] sup?
Yeeaahh... So, uh, nice place you've got here...? ...Or should I say palace?
[...You didn't come here to compliment him on his dream, Sokka. You came here to get him out.]
...Ahaha, uh, anyway... So, you're...probably thinking you're back home and stuff, right? I mean, obviously, since this looks like your home, but...
[He sighs. Okay, Sokka, you can do this. Just man up.]
...It's not. Trust me.
