If anyone needs a safe place to stay until this is all over, the diner is available. There's plenty of food, water, and we should be able to gather up any other supplies we need.

[Souji's tone is preoccupied, because he's already thinking ahead to all of the things he needs to accomplish in a short period of time. But he thinks to add one more thing before cutting off his feed.]

I have some healing magic if anyone gets hurt. I can't cure...whatever this is, but I can help with physical injuries. If anyone needs help, let me know.

[Chara is not one to waste time. They've quickly found out that the closets are not that forthcoming: their insistent requests for survival supplies have netted them... one gas mask instead of two, a backpack shaped like a cupcake, and a single juice box. Wowie. Waiting this out in their room is obviously not happening.]

We're coming over there.

[The faint sound of something being thrown, and a muffled I already have armor, Frisk, you take the mask. Things being stuffed into a novelty backpack.]

...Frisk and myself, I mean. They're totally useless, but I can stand guard. I'm strong.

[An afterthought. Oh yeah. Frisk. Another muffled thing shouted away from the phone: Frisk, you're coming with me, by the way.]

[Souji knows who Frisk is, at least, and is glad they'll be coming--hopefully the diner will stay a safe place.]

[He's not assuming they will need help. Events can be completely unpredictable, though, so it's a matter of having contingency plans.]

[Toothbrushes, change of clothes, chocolate, their few treasures of personal value... blanket? Do they need to take a blanket? It takes up a lot of space. Whatever. They have more important things to brace themselves for: the trip there, and all the threats standing between them and their goal.

[ Simon's already packing supplies and weapons, hoping to maybe make a dent in whatever's coming before they get overrun. Not that he think they'll stand much of a chance of that, but he's got to try. he's never been good at sitting still when there's an emergency happening. ]

You be careful up there, alright? And maybe open your windows. Ellie said something about the spores being airborne? Maybe keeping fresh air flowing would help? If something happens, I know there's some people at the bar hunkering down too, and a lot are heading out to the bunker in the woods. Just as backup plans, yeah?

[ It was always good to have backup plans for your backup plans, when zombies were involved. They were A+ plan ruiners. ]

Right. Air flow should help. [Maybe he can convince a closet to give him a couple of fans--those aren't normal survival supplies, so they might be obtainable.]

If people in the bar need to, they can head up here. [Should the situation on the fifth floor get out of hand.]

Since it seems to have started on the lower floors, we might be safe up here until the end of the event. Depending on how fast it spreads.

[On the flip side, they might end up cornered up here with a fungus jungle standing between them and the outside. Well, that's what windows and ropes are for, right?]

I'll let them know. Jo and I intend to keep moving, help people where we can, but there's a woman here named Freya, thinks she can erect a magical barrier that will protect the people she can get inside it. Once it's up, it stays up though, so if you get the bar showing up, obviously something went wrong. Still. Never hurts to know where the other people are making safe spaces at.

You get trouble up there, give a yell, we'll see what we can do. Fire's supposed to be a handy thing to have,

[ He's been passing information along as he gets it, figuring the more people knew, the more chances they'd have.

Even though he knows how zombie infestations spread. He's not overly optimistic about this one. ]

[Click. They hang up abruptly, already steeling themselves to mentally switch off. It's not that far of a walk. It's definitely something they can handle. They've run longer, more dangerous gauntlets before.

It won't be fun, but if the obstacles this time around look like humans, then it'll definitely be easy.]

[Assuming there's anyone left with the knowledge and skills needed to discover such a thing.]

My healing spells don't really work on any illnesses or infections. I can close up cuts and scrapes, and set bones with it, but this kind of thing...isn't really within my scope.

Right. I can't do anything for illness or infection--anything caused by an organism inside the body, I guess. But I can heal scrapes and cuts and broken bones. That kind of thing.

[Ahhh... she's even more useless now...]

You know Lily and I'll be there - Sirius too. And since we can apparate, we should be able to shuttle people up there relatively safely.

[You know, since there's always a chance of splinching, but now's not really the time to think about it.]

Need anything we can look for? Or do you have it covered up there already?

Don't worry about it. My powers can't fix everything, and some people don't like the idea of relying on magic.
