1. Yes and no - crossing over will not be punished in this event, but she's also not a big fan of traitors and won't be happy they've gone and made deals with a Real thing. HOWEVER - this is a good opportunity for that, because things will be SO chaotic that it'll be difficult for even Her Majesty to keep track of what's going on, so it would be easy for someone to slip through the cracks and bend the rules, if they didn't want to get caught.
2. SURE GO FOR IT. You could totally do that if you wanted to!
I'd be willing to say that the Queen of Hearts might notice, however if she finds out about this treachery later she will probably want to punish the Mirror in question though - probably with a traitor mark, if the payer doesn't want them to be unmade. Buuuut for now they're safe, as long as no one tells Her Majesty. ♥
