[His conversation with Robyn's mirror has been troubling him. It was easier when he could simply imagine that they were all evil and somehow deserving of their fate. With her, though, and now he could only imagine others... he had seen someone bound into an existence that he could not have even wished on his worst enemy.
Even in his deepest moments of loathing for the Warden-Commander, he would have never wished her to carry the mark of the darkspawn taint for the rest of her days, unable to die of it.]
Has anyone.. spoken to one of the mirrors, and not come up against what they expected?

[ A heavy exhale breaks his grim tone. ]
I still can't say what I was supposed to expect in the first place. [ A beat. ] Or what to expect from the rest of them now.
[ After the event he can't help but wonder if caution entails expecting the worst from the lot of them. His experiences to the contrary are slim enough, after all... ]

Nathaniel subconsciously straightens the moment he hears Cullen's voice. There had been no official animosity between them, but he wasn't going to quickly forget that he had shot the commander in the middle of the night and then firmly scolded him when he wouldn't accept medical help.
It came back to him often, usually in the middle of the night when he was trying to sleep.]
I met Robyn's. She was... mm. Not what I thought she would be.
[There isn't really anything flattering he could say, but she was different.]
video;
Yes. [ She replies, almost cautiously. ] ... Though, if they were predictable, I don't think that they would be so... concerning.
[ To say the least. ]
video;
[There's no point hiding that, and he would rather she know it now. For how pathetic her mirror might be, she might also be the kind who would use the fact she had spoken to her real behind her back as ammunition.
Robyn has a point. It forced him to evaluate exactly what his might be like.. and why had Robyn's mirror not seen him yet?]
She was... [He trails off. Robyn likely knows how she is.]
video;
[ Her eyes widen in surprise, expression more wary than alarmed. ]
Oh. [ And she worries at her bottom lip, trying not to think too much about what that might mean. ] I... don't know much about her, to be honest. [ There's a tense pause, and then a fleeting smile as she adds: ] Alistair described her as my "evil twin," but beyond that...
[ Well, what can she take to mean from that ringing endorsement? ]
Did she hurt you? [ The Warden asks urgently. ]
video;
['Evil twin'? Nathaniel isn't sure that he would take it so far, but he can't know what kind of interaction Alistair had with her.
He shakes his head, frowning as he recalls the meeting.]
No. I think she meant to anger me, but it didn't work.
video;
I'm glad you didn't come to any harm. [ She stresses. ] And... I'm sorry that she tried to anger you, if I can at all apologize on her behalf.
video;
The Queen truly is cruel, to suspend someone in such a state.
video;
[ Maker, but her imagination is already running wild with the awful possibilities. ]
video;
[He wonders if he should say anything, then, but...
Nathaniel draws in a breath and huffs it out through his nose.]
She has the Blight, but... she doesn't appear to be dying from it.
video;
[ How right she is, hearing what's... befallen? Her Mirror. ]
Maker. [ Robyn sets her jaw tight, looking... frankly, guilty. ] Why? What are they?
