Hey, Wonderla--

[ just as he starts to talk, ray has to dodge. and then dive. and then dip-- oh, you get it. ]

OK so first off Happy Thanksgi~iving!

[ more dodging! ]

Secondly, I had planned to talk about the holiday, which is an annual tradition about being grateful and celebrating family and-- [ another dive-- this is never ending... ] And invite those of you who might not know about it or celebrate to come and maybe add a tradition or bring your favorite comfort foo--

[ this time, ray gives an indelicate yelp and hits the floor, where now it's easy to see that he's in the ballroom, mid-setup for a big old family style dinner. but it looks like it's-- snowing? ]

But when I asked for extra marshmallows on the sweet potatoes, I guess the mansion took it to heart. So now I'm hoping someone could come and convince them to stop pelting me? And then we could all sit down and have a nice dinner togeth-- yah! Bring a shovel!

[ Rick gives Ray a look, as if he's not sure how to really deal with potential death by marshmallows. ]

You gonna be okay?

[ What? Walkers, he can handle. An overload of marshmallows? Not so much. ]

Oh, yeah! Definitely! I've just got to ... figure out what grudge the mansion has against holiday dinners.

[ because it couldn't possibly just be a practical joke on ray...sigh. ok time to try again. ray's head pokes up out of his mountain of mallow. he blinks a few times before the closet starts bombarding him again, and he relents. ]

I just wanted to make dinner for once!

Your guess is as good as mine, but I guess it's good I'm seeing this, sort of.

[ It's interesting in a strange way to learn that the mansion has this much power, or the capability to go to such lengths. At least this is just marshmallow overload. ]

Well, once we get this cleaned up, I'll give you a hand with that. I'm not much of a cook, but I can still follow directions.

I'm not sure we'll ever get this cleaned up at this rate!

[ his voice is muffled, defeated, dejected. ok mansion you win. ]

In fact I'm starting to think I might have to live on this floor forever.

[ He really should have brought that shovel. Oh well. ]

We will, eventually. It might take us all day, but we'll get it done.

[ He just chooses to be optimistic, even in the face of too many marshmallows. That being said, he all but throws himself at a shower of them, grabbing as many as he can and then trying to find a bowl or a pot or something to slap them in. ]

I don't know, I think this would have to stop eventually, right? I can't imagine the whole mansion overflowing with marshmallows.

[ ooc: I hate asking this, but would you be able to boomerang this a bit with me today? I'm cutting it super close re: AC, but that would help a lot! ]

[ rick's immunity to ray's melodrama seems to perk him up a little. the manblob pile of marshmallows starts to move -- not up, but sideways towards rick's voice. ]

Hey, yeah-- maybe we'll discover the key to the mansion's endless resources. By the way, I'm-- oof!

[ that's a table. the overgrown marshmallow slug changes direction. ]
