Hey, Wonderla--

[ just as he starts to talk, ray has to dodge. and then dive. and then dip-- oh, you get it. ]

OK so first off Happy Thanksgi~iving!

[ more dodging! ]

Secondly, I had planned to talk about the holiday, which is an annual tradition about being grateful and celebrating family and-- [ another dive-- this is never ending... ] And invite those of you who might not know about it or celebrate to come and maybe add a tradition or bring your favorite comfort foo--

[ this time, ray gives an indelicate yelp and hits the floor, where now it's easy to see that he's in the ballroom, mid-setup for a big old family style dinner. but it looks like it's-- snowing? ]

But when I asked for extra marshmallows on the sweet potatoes, I guess the mansion took it to heart. So now I'm hoping someone could come and convince them to stop pelting me? And then we could all sit down and have a nice dinner togeth-- yah! Bring a shovel!

Well, whatever the deal is, I'll be there to help you out of it. Or clean it up. Somehow. Oh, I know - s'mores party? Rice Krispie treat extravagance? DYI Peeps bonanza?

That's about all the marshmallow goodness I know of.

[ Off screen, she promises someone (her brother) that she'll be back, then head to the hallway, coming back into view. ]

[ it's not often ray succumbs to his less optimistic tendencies, and he's still trying to fight against being a debbie downer despite his predicament. less cheerful and more dejected, he offers: ]

At this rate it might just have to become a marshmallow pool party. [ HUFF. ] Maybe bring some floaties?

I'm almost there, too late for floaties.

[ She smiles at him and then the video cuts off and she's walking through the door. Sort of. ]

Oh....wow. This is...so much different in person, holy....wow.

[ Sarah is sort of awe struck, to be honest.]

[ his voice is muffled and the temper tantrum is officially setting in: ]

I'm never asking the mansion for anything again!

I mean, why you?

[ Asked as she makes her way to him, slowly, but when she finds him it's by one hand reaching out to hold onto his hip. ]

Could've been any random person, right? And hi, by the way.

[ She smiles at him, can see his frustration, and leans in to lightly brush her lips against his. ]

We'll figure it out.

[ oh gosh how can he keep pouting when a pretty lady is offering kisses?

(he doesn't, but he tries to resume once the greeting is complete. ]

Do you think it just has something against sweet potatoes? Or maybe s'mores?

[ She can't help but laugh, looking around at the marshmallows en masse. ]

Maybe the Queen of Hearts actually hates them? I mean, I wouldn't put her past her, she seems...slightly unstable.
