[Daisy played with the settings on the communication device she had found until she got one meant for streaming a video. Putting the device at arms length, Daisy tapped ‘video’ and it began to record her live.]

Right, so. This is a lot to take in, apparently this happens a lot around here? People getting sucked into Wonderland? Is it seriously called that? I haven’t seen Alice or the Mad Hatter around here, so I’m having a hard time believing in…

[She’s sure that someone is watching her right now and making a face.]

Okay, that was a lame joke. But this is just some weird, fucked up dream. Right?

[Daisy knows she rambles, she’s good at it. Especially when she’s overwhelmed.]

I’m still waiting to wake up from this, but, for the hell of it…

I’m Sarah.

[What? She doesn't know that here she isn't a wanted woman.]

If anyone is listening to this, I’d really appreciate knowing what the hell just happened to me. I was walking out of a room and the next thing I know I’m falling into a fountain.

[What kind of game is Daisy pulling? She vanishes off to do things for weeks at a time and surfaces with a message like this?

She gives a name that isn't hers, so he switches to a private feed when addressing her.]

Doing undercover work already? Does that mean they've finally organized that initiative of theirs?

[Well that is a face she is not expecting to see. Her stomach drops, as does her expression.]

How did you find me?

[She knows SHIELD has been trying to find her for months, but she's always been two steps ahead.]

What initiative?

[He raises a skeptical brow, and sets aside his motherboard installation.]

Did the last event drop you in an odd place? Do you need help, Daisy?

[Daisy was beyond confused and this conversation was not helping.]

I don't want your help, Fitz.

[Annnd she cuts off the feed.]

They're here. They don't come out much, but they're here. And just to warn you, Alice doesn't have any eyes.

[ Sharon wrinkles her nose faintly and looks more closely at the feed. ]

And you're actually Daisy Johnson. I don't think hiding you identity will work here very well.

This might go over better in person. There's a diner on the eighth floor, if you want to talk about what the hell is going on.

I'm Sharon, by the way. Sharon Carter.

Well that's not at all creepy.

[Daisy blanched when she called her out. How the hell did she know that?

The last name doesn't click with her, she's too caught up in this stranger knowing who she is.]

Why the hell would I want to meet up with you, Sharon?

[If she knew who she was, it could mean that she wanted to capture her.]

Because we got to know each other last time you were here. [ Sharon's brow furrows faintly as she studies Daisy over the feed. ]

People forget being here when they go back home. If they aren't gone long enough, sometimes they come back with their memories still intact. You were gone for a while, though.

And people can come here from different points in time. I knew you when you didn't feel the need to lie about who you are.

[ She straightens at her desk as she thinks. ] Explaining this place is one of the reasons it helps to talk in person. We can meet wherever you choose, if that helps. [ She's getting more and more curious about why Daisy is lying about her identity. She didn't have this much concern about Wonderland before... ]

[If this conversation was supposed to help her calm down enough to want to go along with this meet up, it wasn't working. She's been through too much to let herself be caught this easily.]

You expect me to what? Not believe this is some sort of set up?

[ Sharon raises an eyebrow. Wow. Okay.

She grins a little. ] Actually, it was so I could get a burger downstairs and not have to eat alone. But I can always get one later anyway. They're some damn good burgers.

[ She shrugs. ] Still. I can try to explain what I can over the feed. The main things you need to know about are the events. Every couple of weeks, we get hit by one - it can be anything from switching genders to turning into animals to being transported to some barren wasteland designed to take away our hope. We've had zombies a couple of times.

There's a brochure floating around written by Evie O'Connell. It has some of the highlights, like you can die up to five times. We might be able to die more than that, but I don't want to find out what happens. I've already died once - it wasn't exactly fun.

Some of the Avengers are here. Bruce and Romanoff recently went home - we think they went home. They definitely aren't here anymore. Tony, Steve, and Barton are around somewhere, though.

People from different universes are here, including someone where some of the people from our world are comic book characters in theirs. Based on real people in their world. Because why not.

What else... Tony wants to get an organization set up to help protect people here during events.

And if feeds on memories, supposedly, but no one can remember if they've forgotten anything.

[ She looks back at the camera, looking completely innocent. Her? Overwhelm Daisy with information? Whaaaaaaaaat? ] Any questions?

[ Well, that would make this the third time that Steve's seen this particular face on the network, confused and trying to make light of it. First she'd been Skye, then Daisy, now Sarah. Just how many names does this girl have?

There's a chance it could be someone with the same face, that happens around here sometimes. She hasn't mentioned anything about SHIELD or Coulson or her team, but that may be purposeful.

It should be easy enough to find out, though. The members of Coulson's team usually have a certain kind of reaction to seeing him. ]

Hello, Sarah. [ Steve decides to play along as he opens up a reply. He smiles mildly. ] Unfortunately, this isn't a dream, and it is Wonderland. Or a version of it, anyway.

[This is a face Daisy -- or, "Sarah", as it is -- might also recognize, due to the fact that Wanda is an Avenger back in their world; not that she's been one very long by her memory. Wanda does not know the face of this woman, though.]

Unfortunately, I think this is reality. A weird one, but.. [she trails off.] I have been here around two weeks -- my name is Wanda Maximoff.

[ Caitlin knows that tone of disbelief. She wore it around for a long while. Sometimes she slips back into it. ]

If this is a dream, it's a shared one. And an awfully long one at that.

Welcome to your crash course in the multiverse, I'm Cisco and I-- probably wouldn't be the best choice for a guide since I've only been here a month and I'm still adjusting, but [He shrugs.] I can try and answer any questions I actually...know the answers to? Shoot and I'll give it a try.

[She already hated this place, and her hatred for it was growing by the second.]

[She did recognize her, even before she actually introduced herself. What the hell kind of place was this?]

[Yeah, she had a reaction to seeing his face. Although she quickly tried to cover it up. Did he know who she was? Had Mace sent the Avengers after her?]

So what? There's multiple versions of this place?

[Yeah, no. Totally not overwhelmed at all. Nope.]

...So now I'm supposed to just believe that what you're saying is true? You realize how ridiculous this all sounds, right?

[Is this what Fitz meant by 'the last event'? This really was some fucked up dream.]

[Having expressed his confusion in so many words at Jemma -- and she would have to agree, even just based on the giving of a false name. She takes a little more time, planning her end of the conversation in so much as she can.]

Daisy, please speak to us.

[Well, Fitz is next door, but Daisy probably knows whatever she says is going to be shared -- at least to answer his short "what the hell?"]

[Jemma was here too?

Was this some sort of 'This is your life' hallucination you had before dying? Maybe she was dying.

Still, she doesn't hang up just yet.]

Why? There's nothing else to say.

Yeah, there's plenty of people that have been here for months. Maybe even a year, more? [He looks thoughtful for a second.] I'm actually not sure how long the longest anyone's been here is. [He might just try to find out later, though, now that he's thinking about it, he's kind of curious.]

I, uh, I wasn't kidding about the multiverse 101 thing, though. This is literally Wonderland, and literally a pocket dimension between a bunch of different ones. I know that sounds nuts, but it's true. [Not that he really expects her to believe the word of a stranger, but alas, he'll try to convince her anyway.]

[Because last she knew, things were fine? Not great, maybe, but okay.]

Because you just hung up on Fitz and we're not sure why?

[ Sharon sighs and leans over, rifling through a stack of papers on her desk before pulling out the brochure. ] Ta-da. The brochure I mentioned.

Ta-da, you've been kidnapped to a place called Wonderland.

Ta-da, there are people here from different worlds - you and I are from the same one, because we both have SHIELD and the same Avengers and events. I think. You might be a different Daisy Johnson, but you're still Daisy Johnson.

[ She grows serious and leans on her arms. ] I'm not lying, Daisy. Things might seem bad now, but they're going to get much, much worse. I have no reason to lie to you about that.

It's my own fault. I shouldn't have left it an open channel for anyone to see.

A pocket universe.

[To be fair, she did believe in different universes. After all, it's where they rescued Jemma from. Still, this sounded way more insane than that.]
