hey wonderlanders, let's talk about something happy for a change. because not everything that happens here is bad, and not all of the events are awful. some of them are actually pretty fun. my first one was like that. it was hogwarts, and i came out of that one pretty okay with the fact that i couldn't remember who i was during it, and i actually kind of treasure what i remember of that time. is that weird?
tell me what your favorite events have been. would you mind experiencing them again?

And I really liked Hogwarts too. Everyone was so nice, and I got to go to school.

i don't think anything's ever going to top the hogwarts event for me. maybe i'm biased, because it was my first one and it was something NICE instead of traumatic, but i loved it.
text
[not a typo.]
It was lots of fun, and I didn't get sad or upset when I lost.

that's always good. games that are fun no matter what are the keepers. the ones whose cases i didn't lose track of and never looked very hard for.
text
But it was my first time ever playing a video game!

No, I don't think it's weird. Those rare, good Events give us a chance to escape stuff for awhile.
Hogwarts was my favorite Event too. There was another I really loved but it's more because of what happened between me and someone else. The actual Event itself was a pain. Mirror and real sides were reversed.

[ speaking from experience. she clung tight to what was left of her enjoyment and happiness after she lost her mother, after she gave up surfing in the wake of that loss. ]
what house were you in? i was gryffindor.
...like, you were the mirror and the mirror you was you?

[ they have to take what they can while they can even when it's hard, even when wonderland makes it all slip through the cracks. ]
ravenclaw. my. someone i really cared about was in gryffindor and then i had a few friends in slytherin too. i was way more popular in that school than i'm used to being.
no. like instead of looking into a mirror and seeing your reflection, you saw the mirrorside and all the mirrors hanging out over there. my mirror's kind of a bum.

i used to be popular. can't say i miss it.
i don't want to meet mine. she's probably awful.

[It shouldn't be. She had fun during the experience and no one could take that away from her.]

what was your favorite event, minato?
[text]
[Since his first event here was ending up in Hell. Then there was that pyramid thing. Then the flood and resets. Then dreams, then that lab, then space, then seeing tears in the scenery. Yeah, not too many great ones in there. Christmas was something else altogether too.
They weren't bad. But they weren't his favorites. He wouldn't complain.]
Hogwarts was the wizard school, right?
[text]
[ she hopes so. they can't just keep getting bad things, can they? it would drive them all mad. making them lose their minds can't be the goal of those in charge... ]
