video (backdated to day 1 of the mirror event)
[The video starts to show a man who clearly has seen better days; Rip's face is bruised and bloody both, and that's hardly the full extent of it. There's a very real and dangerous reason why he's seated on the ground making this announcement rather than at the mansion already.]
It would seem there's some manner of event going on. [Something that may already be known. Chronos had knocked Rip out before abandoning him in the woods, and he's willing to bet hours have gone by since then at least. He swallows; speaking is rather hard for a number of reasons, not the least of which being his broken nose.] There's at least one mirror that's crossed over; if you see a tall man wearing a full suit of futuristic armor carrying a trio of guns, I highly suggest you avoid him at all costs. He goes by the name of Chronos, and I cannot emphasize enough how dangerous he is.
[Though perhaps less so to bystanders than to the Legends and their cohorts. Still, Rip would much rather not take the unnecessary risk.]
In a related matter--[Related, ha, as if this little public announcement were the most ordinary thing. Rip squeezes his eyes closed; his head hasn't stopped pounding since he woke up.] I could use some assistance in getting back to the mansion itself. I'm partway between the woods and the building.
[It's as far as Rip's managed to drag himself thus far; in truth he'd hoped to make much quicker progress, or to hear back from the other Legends. Neither has happened, thus? The option of last resort.
Which is so much of why the feed clicks off immediately after.]
{{ooc: Kara's going to be coming out to rescue Rip! But feel free to pester him anyways. Just—be aware that the British guy is in something of a mood.]

voice ⇢ action.
speaking of, she's there next to him in a flash, looking concerned and also a little angry. not at him, but at whoever did this to him. ]
Where's it hurt worst? I don't want to aggravate your wounds picking you up if I don't have to.
Re: voice ⇢ action.
But Kara's is a good voice to hear, and a better person to see--although when she first zips to him, even with the warning, Rip's got his gun raised. It's instinctive more than anything else; he's been caught off guard once, and look where it's led.
Once he realizes it's her, however, Rip lowers the revolver--and immediately frowns at her suggestion.]
I'd really rather not be picked up, thanks. [He tucks the gun away and holds out a hand; leverage he will take, and someone to lean on. Though he's been shot in the leg as well, Rip reasons that he can at least carry some of his weight through this endeavor.]
Have you heard anything from the rest of the Legends in the past several hours?
no subject
[ at his question, she pauses, the glow fading from her eyes. ]
No. I haven't talked to Dr. Palmer since the last event, and I haven't seen Mick or Len today at all. [ the worry lines on her face deepen for a moment as she frowns. ] You think this Chronos guy is going after them?
no subject
(He would let her in the end, however. Rip has teammates to find, as Kara confirms moments later.)]
He likely already has. [The man had made a point of telling Rip that had been precisely his reason for luring him out away from the others.] Leonard in particular; it's something of a complicated history, but--
[There's no avoiding telling it to her.]
Chronos is a version of Mick Rory who was essentially brainwashed by the Time Masters.
[She may have heard of them--they're that group Rip worked for, once upon a time.]
In this case, Mick's mirror.

with a frustrated little huff, kara scoops rip up bridal style and starts flying back towards the mansion. ]
I can track Chronos, try and subdue him. Unless he's got kryptonite, odds are he can't hurt me much.

Are you hurt -- do you need help?
Re: video
[Somewhere, deep down, Rip really does know that Jemma must mean well. But really?]
I've a friend who is on the way.
[As for medical treatment? Yes, Rip absolutely needs it--but other priorities come first.]
no subject
[Sarcasm is hardly distinguished, but emotional resources are running a bit thin this week.]
If you'd like additional medical attention, I can be waiting.
no subject
[Y'know.]
In due time I'll no doubt take you up on that.
[But Rip has others to look after first--and there is one other small matter.]
Provided you are, in fact, the actual Dr. Simmons.

[Seth can't help himself while he has time this side of the mirror.]
Re: text;
[To make that point clear.]
Unfortunately not--nor is he someone to be defeated easily.
I'd advise staying away from him.
text;
I'm sure I'll take that under advisement.
Isn't keeping track of the danger people something people should do?
Re: text;
[Yeah, Rip doesn't believe him.]
Indeed, but if the responsibility should fall to anyone, it should be myself and my team. [Which clearly went so well the first time, right?] He is the mirror of someone from our world, and thus our responsibility.

video.
Thanks for the warning. Um . . . do you need anything when you get back to the mansion?
Re: video.
--I'm afraid I still have certain things to accomplish. [Leonard, Ray, and Nate all need to be found, and God only knows who else by now.] But your offer is appreciated.
Re: video.
[ It's a simple enough response. She tilts her head to one side, scrutinizing the feed thoroughly. He doesn't look good, sure, but he seems determined enough, at least for . . . whatever he's planning. ]
You'll at least get bandaged up before doing those things, right?
Re: video.
[Which is pretty far from a "yes" to her question, isn't it?]

Where are you? Do you need help?
Re: Video
Kara's taken care of getting me back to the mansion. We need to find Mr. Snart and Dr. Palmer as soon as possible; I'm entirely sure Chronos went after them as well.
Video
Any idea where they might be? I can check Ray's lab but besides their rooms I'm not sure where Snart spends his time.
Re: Video
[Ideally as prisoners rather than corpses.]
Dr. Palmer's lab might be a good place to start. I doubt anyone would venture there regularly. The same might indeed go for their rooms: Mick's and Leonard's in particular.
[Places that would be unused, if the original occupants were put out of the way.]
If not one of those locations--then I'm afraid they could be literally anywhere within the mansion, or even on the grounds. Chronos lured me out to the woods to attack me, so he might well have done the same to them.
Re: Video
Re: Video
video;
[He's not really taking the warning too seriously. His human body might be as fragile as any mortal's, but that isn't what makes him what he is. Crowley eyes Rip with mild interest, lifting both eyebrows very slightly.
Funnily enough, he sounds British, too.]
And either he didn't really want you dead, or you're very lucky.
Re: video;
Conquests. Victories. One is Chronos' own, yes, but the other two just make it clear that he's already beaten Mick and Leonard both in some fashion.]
It was entirely by design, I assure you. [Instead, he addresses the latter statement. Rip knows he was left alive purposely, and for what reason. He's not going to take false hope in the fact.]
video;
[He knows where the comment was addressed, but he's going to twist it regardless. No one needs three big guns, unless they're toting them about as trophies. It doesn't take a genius to work that one out, and Crowley is rather smart.]
You can make it back, can't you?
[The tone suggests he doesn't really care, but he is curious, regardless.]
Re: video;
Rip certainly has far more pressing matters to attend to anyway than to explain why Chronos is carting around trophies.]
Yes. [Only because he's been contacted by Kara, who would likely show up at any second—but Rip leaves those details unsaid. It's becoming increasingly clear that this conversation holds some amusement for the speaker, rather than any level of concern or a desire to help.] Which I should in fact get back to, so if there's nothing further?
[Or even if there is, most likely.]
