3rd Checkpoint [Video]

[After his arrival, Kay's taken the time to change his clothes - the familiar long-sleeved shirt and vest - so that no one sees the blood in this video. His face is still pale from the earlier injury. He drums his fingers against his desk as he talks.]

Hey. I'm Kay, for anyone who hasn't met me. Anyone here got experience with brain imaging? Reading brain activity, any effects it might have, that kinda stuff. Ideally, I'd like someone who could do a basic check up as well.

(OOC note: I won't be able to reply to responses until Monday.)

Right. I'll go grab one from the closet then.

[Kay set the phone done long enough to do just that. He returns moment later with the device and the wires that go with it. He holds it in front of the screen.] Got it. What do you think?

We'll need a quiet location in order to conduct this.

( Although, whilst Gideon knows how to read the graph it'd give, she's never actually set one up before )

[Kay can help out on that end. From his perspective, it was only a day ago that he'd had one stuck on his head. He remembers how it was done.]

The ninth floor has a lot of empty rooms. [Which he knows from living there.] We can use one of those.

Then I will meet you there. Is there anything that concerns you? Or causes you to ask for such a procedure?

Yeah. A man back home told me that some changes to my brain might have a negative long term side effect. I want to see if he was right. We weren't under the best of circumstances at the time.

[waverides]

Did he happen to specify what those changes might be, or the effects that they might have upon you?

[tattooedredheads]

Yeah. My observational, analytical, and sensory abilities have greatly increased. The effects would be paranoia, delusion, and emotional instability. The conditions weren't ideal at the time so I want to double check.

[Well that and Kay really wants the old man to have been wrong.]

Then it's vital that we discover if these changes are occurring. I will be there shortly.

[tattooedredheads]

[Kay's already set up the equipment by the time Gideon arrives and is sitting the hallway next to the door when she arrives. He waves when he spots her.] Yo!

[waverides]

You're Kay? ( She's checking, though the face in front of her matches the video that she'd seen ) My name is Gideon.

[tattooedredheads]

Yep. Nice to meet ya. I've got the machine set up in this room.

[He jabs a finger at the door.]
