[There's a face very, very, very close to the screen. Not a shock, given he's basically sitting on the device with wide eyes and a mouth hanging open a little in awe. It makes strange noises sometimes and he's not sure what it is but he will work it out. He's smarter than he looks, he'll have you know. He's a smart cookie. The smartest of cookies even because cookies are remarkably dumb. They don't even put up a fight when he eats them so they're clearly inferior to the all mighty Groot.

He leans forward slowly. He licks it. Ew. Nope. Not food. Hmm.

Okay, back to square one.

It's not doing much but be kind of reflective, it's probably not a weapon and--

Oh! He can see his face!!!

He pulls funny faces into it happily, delighted with how he can see himself and somehow not paying attention to anything else in the screen but himself.]

I am Groot!

[ Ok, the kitchen, that was easy enough. ] Perfect. I'll be right there, don't go anywhere.

[ It doesn't take him long to get there and he's walking into the kitchen looking around, he spots Groot finally and grins. ]

[Groot waves and walks to the edge of the table, device forgotten as he slowly extends out his vines and starts to wrap them around this tall persons arm so he can pull himself up with ease.

He wants a people ride, it's much faster than his own legs.] I am Groot.

[ He's not sure at first what Groot is doing but he stays still, letting it play out. When it turns out to be harmless he relaxes and lets Groot climb up onto his shoulders. This might be the most adorable thing. ]

So, what do you want to do first? Find Rocket? Get some food? A tour?

[He wants a tour! A tour! Outside, outside! That seemed like a good idea. Groot points eagerly at the window to try and indicate what he wants, hoping Billy could catch his drift. Come on, tall man. Let's go see those blue skies and birdy things.]

[ For someone who says only three words Billy is pretty quick to catch on, he might be a little impressed with himself. It helps that Groot is gesturing. ]

Okay then, a tour it is. We have a lake, and a beach, and some gardens and a forest. Plus a really creepy hedge maze that I would probably get us lost in so maybe we should avoid that.

[ He starts to head towards the door as he's talking, making sure Groot is secure. He doesn't want him to fall. ]
