4th Checkpoint [Video]
So much for autonomy. [The man on the camera smiles cheerlessly. He looks the same as he normally does, except his distinctive tattoos are gone.]
I figured out one of your secrets so you spirit me away here? With a bunch of dinosaurs? I didn't choose to leave which makes your actions blatantly illegal. [His voice grows louder as he speaks and his anger shows. There are so many people who he's angry with; the Grand Chaser for betraying their city, his original country for their well-woven lies, and himself for believing what he was told.]
Might as well openly declare war now. I will find the whole truth and expose it for all of Sakia to know. No matter what. We'll see what happens when everyone knows what a farce your agreement is.

[He notices the lack of tattoos, so clearly Kay is not the normal Kay. But still, this seems a little angrier than he'd have expected.]
video;
That was for Central Government. You from Sakia or Estancia? [He tries to sound mildly curious; better not to act upon those thoughts until he gather more information. And supplies.]
[He doesn't even have his weapons. Dae In Wang had confiscated them after insisting that Kay would create another bio-chip. He's not sure how much weaponry the mansion holds, but going there takes him away from the dinosaurs so that's where he's going to go.]
video;
[He tries to remember the things Kay has told him about his world, considering all of this.]
I'm from a place called Japan. And this is Wonderland.
Re: video;
[Part of the trap or not, that answer falls completely outside Kay's expectations. It shouldn't be possible for him to meet someone from a place that wasn't Sakia or Estancia.]
Is this some kinda international conspiracy now?
video;
[This is going to be an oddly informative look into Kay's world, Souji can tell.]
Is there some kind of conspiracy?
video;
Well, I guess you could say that Sakia's existence was already part of one. [The international community disapproves of countries that wipe the mind of their own citizens after all.]
video;
video;
It's a city built by Central Government. Sakia was given the right to self-government in exchange for making anyone who arrives in Sakia through the train a full citizen and making anyone who leaves Sakia a fugitive. Or [his voice darkens] that's how it's supposed to be. Central Government says that Sakia is meant to reform criminals and give 'em a second chance to live normal lives. But since some of Central Government's dealings with Sakia are questionable, the city is kept secret from the rest of the world.
Any of that sound familiar? [Maybe Japan created a similar kind of city?]
video;
I've never heard anything like that.
[He tilts his head a little in thought.]
Are you one of those criminals?
[There's no judgment in his voice. Just curiosity.]
video;
[Probably about 85% of adults are former criminals since migrants come in twice a month.]
Do you know anything about a country called Estancia? Or who built Wonderland and for what purpose?
video;
As for Wonderland, I know a lot about it, but not that.
video;
[It's only fair, since Kay told him about Sakia.]
video;
About Wonderland, though, I can tell you a lot. Like that no one here is from here. We're all from other worlds.
video;
[Said in the flattest tone Kay can manage. The rest makes sense, but as far as Kay knows there is only one world.]
video;
[He emphasizes the s at the end.]
We're from different worlds.
video;
There are guns in the closet?
[Seems like his captors don't care if he's armed. He's not sure if that's a good sign or a bad one.]
What kinda worlds are we talking about here? Why snatch a guy from a place no one even knows about?
[He holds himself in high regard but Kay isn't delusional. Sakia isn't important to any other country in the world. There's no way something snatching people up from multiple worlds would ever notice anyone or anything in Sakia. He doesn't really believe it, mind you. But he'll listen to what Souji has to say.]
video;
[He's not actually sure Wonderland cares, but that makes more sense to him.]
....Why did you want guns?
video;
[Back in Sakia, a number of people would have happily kidnapped and threatened him for the chance to learn Library secrets. It's why his first contract forbid him from leaving the Library premises. To even gain a position as Librarian, you have to be able to fend for yourself.]
[Next step: water.]
video;
The dinosaurs aren't normal. For this place, I mean.
video;
video;
video;
The more I hear, the better this place sounds.
video;
video;
[So far, what Souji's been telling him is that things are less dangerous than he initially thought they were.]
video;
[Then again, most people aren't Kay.]
video;
video;
video;
video;
So you don't know what you did to get there?
video;
video;
video;
[His wanderings have taken him to the kitchen. Convenient.]
How safe is the food? [He can manage without food if he really has to. If he's stuck for any length of time, though, he'll have to eat eventually.]
video;
[Now back to the matter at hand.]
What made it bother you recently?
video;
[The problem Kay runs into is that he doesn't know what Central Govnerment has to gain from manipulating Sakia now.]
