[ Monika is sitting placidly behind her piano, smiling like she has no cares in the world. However, something's...off.

Her ponytail is slightly askew, the bow drooping on one side, and her clothes aren't as clean and kempt as usual. But it's probably what's going on in the background that's more interesting.

As in her room is wrecked. Items are strewn about, things are broken, and her piano has an unmistakable crack in it. It's like a tornado tore through, that tornado being her. She doesn't care about wars or any other stupid bullshit, because she has more important things weighing on her mind.

See, the past month hasn't been too good to her. She had a body for a while. And now she doesn't. Monika doesn't like that. The asshole that killed her? Not only ruined her short time with a body, but also got to hit and run in the completely unfun way. She really doesn't like that. And being held captive by a demented bear? REALLY NOT LIKING THAT. Noticing a pattern here?

In short, she mad.

She gives a pleasant little hum, resting her clasped hands on the piano's fallboard. ]

Just a quick question today! Are there any robots around?

[ She blinks, still smiling. There are no underlying issues to address here, no siree! She is toootally not getting desperate for freedom, nope nope nope.

[Greg tilts his head, trying to get a better look at the screen, but then he realizes that isn't working and sits up straight again.]

[ It takes a lot of effort for her not to seem pleased at that. She covers her mouth, just in case a smile tries to slip out. She'll look more concerned this way, at least. ]

Gosh, I'm so sorry! [ She shakes the last of the joy out of her body, putting on a convincing frown. ] Isn't that good, though? At least she's not trapped here anymore, right?

[ Her text may seem cheerful, but she's feeling anything but now. Thankfully, he can't see her eyes frantically darting around, paranoia suddenly taking over. Fucking Monokuma. She prays he doesn't notice this. ]

I... I wish I could say that it was good. [He says softly.] But, I would say that... this was a better environment for her.

[A pause and he bows to the video feed.]

You don't look fine... do you need help? I could come over and help clean up or something, if you want...

[That was his main concern right now. The room would fix itself eventually and those were just things. Things could be replaced. But if she were injured, that had to be taken care of first.]

[She squints at the destruction.]

[My goodness... what's wrong with Monika? Is it the upcoming war? That's probably it... Monika probably came from a really peaceful place, and doesn't know how to deal with it... poor Monika...]

Turing is a robot! And he's a very nice one.

Hmm. [ She halfheartedly pulls at her hair bow, since it's starting to droop into her peripheral vision. Is that what's making her seem off? Monika shrugs and lets it plop back down. ] I guess I don't look my best today!

Oh, um. Ahaha! You wouldn't find me, so don't worry yourself over that!

[ Huh. That sounds...eh, whatever. She's gone.

She smiles genuinely, trying to smooth down a few bits of her hair. All of a sudden she'd like to look a tad less of a mess for him. ]

You don't have to thank me, Kiyo. It's the least I can do for someone I care about!

[Oh, geez! This is so sudden! Well...they do like talking about themselves, soooo...]

...I don't see why not! My name is Turing. I was created by the late Hayden Webber as a prototype for creating a sapient ROM. ...ah, I should clarify: ROMs are short for Relationship Organizational Manager systems. They are the primary robots that reside in my home world. However, in my world, I am currently the only sapient ROM!

[They puff out their chest, looking particularly proud about that.]

[ Monika tilts her head and laughs. ]

Of course not! I'm sure this'll all fix itself by tomorrow!

[ That's how video games work, so why not this? ]

[ Monika looks so pleased. He cares about her well being! How sweet! ]

I'm perfectly fine, ahaha!

[ She stands up and does a little twirl just so show she's still in one piece, then plops back down. ]

See? [ She finally fixes her bow so she's more presentable. ] No problems here!

[ Monika immediately perks up at that. ]

How do they normally look? Are we talking Ghost in the Shell or The Jetsons?

[ She is not going to look like a fucking maidbot! ]

Oh, hi!

[ She giggles, resting her chin on her hands. ] We just met! I can see us getting really close!

[ Really, really close. Well, if no better options show up. ]

[ Hmm. How can she keep this conversation going without things seeming suspicious? She's vaguely interested in all that's been said, but she has to get to the pertinent info here. ]

So, um. Is this how you normally look?

[ You know. Not human enough? ]

[ Monika has a moment of self awareness where she glances around at her surroundings and wonders how Mikan could come to that conclusion. It soon passes, though. ]

Mm-hmm, exactly!

[ A pause. ]

Know any other robots? Or just that one?

[This time there is some.

... I guess, technically... there's... Mettaton. And the person who made his body is here.

[ One of her eyebrows creeps up. ] Oh, really?

[ She clears her throat. She's trying to keep this question veeery casual. ]

Who might that person be?

Her name is Alphys. Doctor Alphys. She's a monster from the Underground. She's really into anime and cosplay. She's the one who built Mettaton's body.
