[ Monika is sitting placidly behind her piano, smiling like she has no cares in the world. However, something's...off.

Her ponytail is slightly askew, the bow drooping on one side, and her clothes aren't as clean and kempt as usual. But it's probably what's going on in the background that's more interesting.

As in her room is wrecked. Items are strewn about, things are broken, and her piano has an unmistakable crack in it. It's like a tornado tore through, that tornado being her. She doesn't care about wars or any other stupid bullshit, because she has more important things weighing on her mind.

See, the past month hasn't been too good to her. She had a body for a while. And now she doesn't. Monika doesn't like that. The asshole that killed her? Not only ruined her short time with a body, but also got to hit and run in the completely unfun way. She really doesn't like that. And being held captive by a demented bear? REALLY NOT LIKING THAT. Noticing a pattern here?

In short, she mad.

She gives a pleasant little hum, resting her clasped hands on the piano's fallboard. ]

Just a quick question today! Are there any robots around?

[ She blinks, still smiling. There are no underlying issues to address here, no siree! She is toootally not getting desperate for freedom, nope nope nope.

I thought it'd be...cooler? Everyone always expects robots to look a certain way. It'd be great to have one that, y'know. Somehow looks like me!

That's an odd request. Humans typically prefer to look different from other things. Retaining their individuality is important.

[She's saying this in the tone of someone who isn't so much suspicious as curious. Gems are comfortable being one of many, distinguishable only by facet and cut. Humans are bizarre in their need to have unique features.]

Also "cool" would be a robot with significant combat capabilities, unless I'm wrong about the definition of cool.

[It has not occurred to her that cool is subjective. What the hell is subjectivity anyway? Everything she says is a Fact.]

I'm different, I guess! Ahaha, I mean, in the sense that I wouldn't mind a human robot. Not all of us think the same~

[ Ahh, it's nice to be thought of as human. ]

Just, you know. [ Her smile turns innocent. ] As long as it's pretty. And very human-like! Almost so human-like you couldn't tell it was a robot.

Unfortunately, my talents are more practical than aesthetic. But if you want to mount a blast cannon to it at any point, I'll be happy to do that much.

[ It's so hard not to pout. ] You sure you couldn't challenge yourself, maybe? I mean, I'll let you put a canon anywhere you want! As long as I could hide it when it's not being used.

[ The goal is to love people, not terrify them! ]

I... Guess I have time to try? [It'll keep her busy anyway. It's not so much that she's worried she can't so much as she thinks it's dumb as hell, but... This is what friends do right? And Monika... gave her good ideas for laser placement, so that clearly makes her friend-ish.]

[ Her face brightens up so much, she could probably be a light source for all of Wonderland for the foreseeable future. ]

If it were just an average robot, I'd say not long at all, but this will require some doing. Maybe a few cycles.

[ The light bulb that is her happiness fizzles out with a loud pop. ]

[ Monika bursts into relieved laughter. She was worried she'd get some weird sci-fi answer like twenty parsecs or something. ]

Okay! That's super awesome! Will there ever be anything I can do for you in return? I feel like I owe it to you! I mean, normally I'd write something, but I don't think that'll cut it for something this good.

Oh... I don't really need anything.

[Wait. Write something. HMMM.] Have you seen Camp Pining Hearts?

[ Monika blinks, looking blank. ]

Uh, no. I didn't really have TV back home. Or is it a movie? Not that I had theaters, either...

[ Is that something she should know about? Huh. ]

It's a TV show. The best TV show.

[She clears her throat.] This is my proposal. You watch all of Camp Pining Hearts and use your skills as a writer to create an epic Percy and Pierre story to make up for what I've been denied by the clods running the show, and I'll build you a robot.

[ Her head tilts. That's all? Like, is this a trick? She almost feels like she's taking advantage of someone. Clearly she's getting the better end of the deal here!

With a grin, she gives a thumbs up. Whatever, not going to worry about that! ]
