[The feed opens to Wonderland's resident Book Horse in his natural environment. Which is to say the library. Because of course he's here. He smiles, offering the camera a little wave of a forehoof.]
Hello there, Wonderland! I've really settled into my role as your librarian, though I admit I've got a bit of a quandary going on. I've been picking my reading material mostly at random- when I realised I could just ask the mansion at large what their favourite books are. I'd love to hear your recommendations, and I'm sure others here would too.
[Because if there's one thing he's lacking in his life, it's more books to read. He'll just drag everyone else down into his hermit book-world with him. They can be book hermits together. A contradiction, but still. ]
Oooh, perhaps we would even try out a book club, if anyone was interested in that kind of thing?

[ the ones she presumably mention in passing one day and never mentioned again until now. bear with us, folks. ]

[Yes. All of them. ]
I especially liked the one with the little solider rhyme. I never saw that ending coming.
SURPRISE INTRUDER also video I guess
[Yes Sunburst. There are sides.]
I don't suppose Peggy mentioned any other mystery writers for you to pick up.

[Satoru doesn't do a ton of reading, unless it's manga. Which he can't be blamed for, given his apparent age.]
That might be kind of fun.

Um. Can't say that I have. Taking a shot in the dark here and asking if it's about vampires?
[Still, it's a BOOK and he's curious, so he will be wandering around trying to find the damn thing. ]
It's from your world, right?

[Sure, he still can't read very well, but what better place to learn than in a place where everyone else is reading? The logic fits, in his mind, and he's reasonably sure that if Sunburst is running it he'll be quite welcome.]
I'll... try to keep up.
video;
Of course you can, everyone's welcome. And I'm sure anyone else who would come would be happy to have you, and go at a steady pace for you. So it can be fun for everyone.

O-okay. When do you think you'll start?

[He'll read anything.]
I'm glad you think so! It seems to have a few interested individuals, so I might make it a thing.

[Which includes unicorns!!!]
But, when I read for fun, I like, um... r-romance manga...

I... did not... particularly enjoy them. I tried to read them, but I feel that I lacked the... human cultural context to be able to do so.
But I did have a much nicer time with "Starting Strength" which is a human book about exercise.
[video]
Oh! So...push ups, things like that?
[He sometimes vaguely pays attention in Peggy's boot camp. ]

I enjoy non-fiction, mostly historical things. I can recommend a few wonderful books about Earth, and more specifically Scotland, England, and America's early history. But I would like to broaden my horizons, so to speak.
° video
Well, I'm sure you could do it in a book club. I doubt any of us would immediately reach for the same kind of book off our on backs.

I'm also a big fan of the Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons rulebook, but it isn't for everyone.
video
[Dipper can YOU explain that plot to him? ]
And I haven't read either of those, but I'm willing to give them a try. What's the Sibling Bros about? Other than...brothers, I'm guessing?

Oh, at home I teach, and I would love to recommend books to you. I love anything classic, but if I try to go more modern, perhaps The Giver, A Wrinkle in Time and Watership Down might be good places to start. If you haven't read them already, that is.
video;
I haven't read any of those. Which do you recommend me try first?
[Let him be traumatised by the super fun bunny book, Snow. ]
