[The bloke on the video is smirking in far too an amused fashion for a new arrival in Wonderland. For anyone that's ever been here more than once, and with their memories of it in tact when they got back, it may almost seem obvious he must be a return, except... he doesn't look like anyone that had gone missing recently at all, does he? Hmm. Curiouser and curiouser.

Kol can't help taking the moment to poke some fun at things. He has this wildly unique opportunity to meet his friends for the first time all over again-- it's far too fun not to goad them.]

Can't say that I recall ingesting any Ayahuasca, but this is one mad trip.

[She doesn't want to. She wants to keep building whatever they were building, and not let events influence that. But she also knows that she cannot control other people's anger. She'd rather get it out of the way now, rather than forcing Kol to stew.]

I suppose things can get rather dull around here, can't they.

That they can. [He hates the stilted awkwardness that hangs in the air between them, but without directly addressing it, he's not sure what to do about it, except viciously ignore it.] What did I miss while I was gone?

Nothing too interesting. You were only gone a week.

[Things didn't have too much time to change, and there likely wasn't an event while he was gone, so no new shenanigans that he just happened to miss.]

Fitz is still in my closet, unfortunately.

[He frowns a bit at that info-drop. Did they have to talk about him? Ugh. But he supposes it is still relevant information.]

Are you any closer to your goals with him? [Not that he approves of, appreciates, or gives a rat's arse about those goals, but he had accepted his siblings were both unmoving in their plans for Fitz.]

Much, actually. He has a tendency to rearrange things or turn the floor to lava when I'm getting close, But I've narrowed down my options considerably.

[The Fitz she's dealing with at this point is a literal child and very difficult to reason with.]

Lava floors... must be right at the precipice, then. [Which is good for her, at least. He's not sure what his sister will fill her time with once this little project is complete, assuming it goes the way she and their brother are so hoping that it will in the end.]
