[When the camera turns on, Alice is just out of frame, revealing an empty tea room.]
Everyone! I have something very important to tell you! The next event, I'm not entirely certain why or what else is going on but--
[--Alice pops up from the bottom of the screen, dressed up as a cat! It is quite literally the cat's pajamas.]
We get to wear costumes all weekend! It sounds like so much fun that I decided to dress up too to tell you. I think I'd want to go as my cat Dinah. I like to think she would appreciate the tribute. After all, I'm her biggest fan! What would you dress as? Or who?
[That seems to be most of the announcement, but then Alice looks a bit sheepish and glances downward, hiding some of her face in her hood.]
...I wanted to apologize too. For the seance, and for everything that happened because of it. I promise, I had no idea that would happen or I wouldn't have done it. And I absolutely won't do it again. I'm...I'm really sorry for messing everything up.
[With that, Alice shuts off the camera.]

You look adorable. [ She leans forward, propping her chin on her hand. ] I was worried about you since we left the Dreamside. How are you doing?
[ Julia is just going to ignore that apology because, from her point of view, apologies are mostly a waste of time. ]

[The pajamas are big enough that she can stretch out the fabric and almost curtsy. Once she does though, she plops herself down in a cozy chair and sighs.]
I'm doing well, I suppose. I never did find her Majesty though...everyone must have been right about her being the Jabberwock.

[ That's also probably an understatement but Julia figures there isn't much to do than deal with that when it comes around. ]
I just can't believe it managed to trick us all this time.

[Alice assumed she had enough first hand experience to know what to expect, but even she was fooled.]

[She's looking down. Maybe this is a shock or a surprise, or maybe it isn't. The whole thing still feels like a horrible dream in a lot of ways.]
The Queen of Hearts had been overthrown, and I was given the task of being Queen of Mirror Side. I had a royal adviser, the White Rabbit had...he'd come back to advise me, but. It wasn't really him...it was the Jabberwocky. I'd thought if I could volunteer as adviser, perhaps that wouldn't happen to the White Queen, but I just got tricked all over again.

[ She does manage a smile. ]
Bet you were still a better queen than the Queen of Hearts ever was.

A suspect a rock might be a better queen than she was. But...thank you. It means a lot. I'm not cut out for Queenly duties by any means, but she's really the worst of the worst of the worst.

[ Sure, the Red Queen is fine, but Julia still suspects that Alice could be getting a better education, all things considered. ]

I'm not sure I'd want to be Queen again. It's an awful lot of pressure and no one likes you very much when you're in charge of them, no matter how nice you try to be.

I understand that. I don't know if I want to be a queen, either. [ It's been a long time since she thought about herself as the Monarch and what that even would mean back home. Mostly because she doesn't really want to deal with it. ] People don't like being bossed around, even when you're doing your best or trying to help.

[Or at least, that's been her experience with the Mirrors.]

Whaaaat? This sounds like the BEST EVENT EVER. What could go wrong with costumes? [She frowns.] ...Wait. It's too early for Halloween and too late for Summerween. Huh. I wonder...

By the way, I love everything about yours, and so does The Duke.
[She holds her piglet up so he can see Mabel's costume on the screen, but he doesn't seem as impressed as Alice says he is.]

[Oh but wait.] Oh, man. You haven't seen the best part. Check out what I have Boris in.
[And she produces her boar, wearing a costume not entirely unlike the Once-ler's. He even has a hat.] I dressed him as his favorite person besides me. We are so nailing this already.

Oh, he's so handsome! What a good little suit for a good little pig! Both of your costumes are really incredible.
[She turns The Duke around in her hands so she can look him in the face, instead of having him look in the camera.]
I should really pick out a costume for you as well. Maybe you'd like to dress like a real Duke!

And a beard! And a crown! Do Dukes wear crowns? Maybe just a very small one would be okay...

Two: If I seriously had to pick, I guess I would go as... I dunno. Some kind of clown? But it's not like I normally go to fancy dress parties or anything... Maybe?
Three: You're right about never doing seances again, but we did manage to get some info while we were stuck on the dream side if you want me to fill you in.

Two: I think a clown would be fun! I know some people think they're scary, but I don't. They just want to make everyone laugh, and there's nothing wrong with that.
[She hesitates before the third point, but ultimately her curiosity gets the best of her.]
Three: Oh? ...What sort of information did you find out?

And a seance...well, I thought it was a ritual to contact someone you've lost, but apparently it's more complicated than that.

Well...there are some things I can do that no one else can, if that counts? Sometimes I get a vague sense of what an event might be, but that doesn't feel like a very good power since it doesn't tell me very much.
Oh, I can do this though!
[And she just disappears out of the frame, vanishing into thin air for a full thirty seconds before re-appearing.]
