[The video starts abruptly, showcasing John's back as he walks-- something that's a little rare for him, what with the god tier flying and all --down the hall. His movements are slow and his steps are small, almost like he's not all that convinced that he wants to move forward in the first place. His hands fidget around, picking at his pants before floating up to grip the opposite elbow. The gesture seems to be his feeble attempt to keep himself from trembling anymore than he is already.

A sharp, high pitched noise tears from John's throat, and the feed ends.]

[The tears have stopped, more or less, but he still feels an intense sorrow.]

[If John says "sorry" again, Dave's just going to kiss him in the middle of saying it to make him stop.]

[John's breath catches as he clutches onto Dave's shoulder, kissing back a little desperately. Yes, Dave still cares about him, right? Yes. He's gotta make sure of that.]

[John pulls Dave close, presses against him, whimpers. Dave cares, Dave has to, he needs that.]

[He allows it easily, gripping John tighter in response. Dave's not about to let go until he knows for sure that his partner is alright.]

[John leans back enough to gulp at air. His forehead touches Dave's and he closes his eyes.]
