Hey guys! Koji here. SO, we heard some of you guys on the East Coast of the United States are getting hit by a hurricane (myself included)! This is super rude of Mother Nature. I mean, we have this AWESOME Halloween event, and the AC coming up (which is probably not so awesome, but necessary), and people might be evacuated and/or lose power? That's terrible!
So, we've given it some thought, and talked it over, and decided two things:
1) We are NOT extending the event but we ARE allowing lots of back tags AND back posts. The event's set to end on Halloween because, well, it's a Halloween event. But in addition to the usual back-tagging, you're welcome to make posts after the event officially ends. Just make sure you mark your post clearly as back-dated so that people who want to play post-event things like checking out those awesome doors some more can do so without having to wait. Also, don't drag it out too long, guys. This is primarily because some people are expecting lengthy power outages, so I'd say back posting more than a week after the event ends is probably pushing it. (Back tags are welcome to go on forever though, as usual).
2) ACTIVITY CHECK IS BEING MOVED TO 12/1. You're welcome. :) We talked it out, and it's probably better that way, because no one will have to scramble because of the hurricane OR because of the holiday season (if we'd stayed on schedule, the next one would have been on 1/1). So don't worry about scrambling to be ready for AC, just go duck for cover and get your rafts ready for the flooding. ;D
Finally, this isn't really an announcement or anything and it's a little late at this point, but this is a neat hurricane prep resource I found on tumblr that I thought I'd share with you guys. To everyone in the path of Hurricane Sandy, I hope you all stay safe and dry and that your power either doesn't go out or comes back soon. And to everyone who's not about to get hit by a hurricane, try not to have too much fun without us, okay? ;D
