[The video feed is activated! . . . to the image of someone tapping at the camera a few times with his finger before pulling back, looking perplexed.]

Oh wow, is this thing really on? Geez, you guys must be really high tech here! Hey, stop me if you've heard this one before, buuuut I think I'm kind of lost. Er, make that really lost, because the last place I was at definitely wasn't some techno-fantasy mansion place. I mean, not that I'm knocking that sort of thing. This place is pretty cool! I wouldn't mind having a thing like this for my own; it could be fun.

— yikes, I'm really getting side-tracked here! So, uh. Would anyone mind helping a guy out and steering me in the right direction? Ahaha . . .

[Well, it was right. Minato hadn't lied.]

And you're actually serious about this?

[Minato nodded. Still not lying.]

[Another nod. They were all brought here by this place's mercy too. But that much should've been obvious enough.]

[Some things were best demonstrated, given how Wonderland operated. And some people just have a word quota per day at either rate. Not that Minato is entirely opposed to explaining over video though.]

Oh hey, you'd do that? That'd be great! I was going to explore, but I thought I'd get lost pretty quickly, which could be preeeeetty embarrassing.

[So interesting. It isn't as though Minato was lying. Minato didn't mind though, being questioned. It was understandable.

He nodded though since he did offer and wouldn't retract it. Only fair too that everyone who arrived understood Wonderland basics.]

Can you describe where you are?

[Minato would go find him if he could.]

[He gives him an awkward smile and gestures around himself as he steps out of the room.]

It's, ah . . . a hallway? With a lot of rooms, I'm guessing.

[Well, there's a 1 in 10 chance of finding him at this rate. Minato nodded again. He was on the move, taking the stairs, but keeping his comm device on so as not to lose contact.]

... Can I ask what your name is and where you're from?

[He leans against the side of the hallway, idly fiddling with his comm device. The question seems to catch him off-guard for a moment, and he lets out a nervous laugh.]

Hmm? — oh, right! My name's Adachi. Haha . . . I'm from this small town called Inaba. And what about you?

[So it really was him. Minato filed that away, now wondering just what it was that made Wonderland pull people in from particular worlds.]

Arisato Minato, from Iwatodai. It's nice to meet you.

What year is it at your home?

[Another set of stairs to climb. Getting there.]

[There's the slightest of pauses — as if someone's being extra cautious and alert — but that gets brushed aside quickly with a wide, goofy smile.]

It's 2012! Can't miss that, with all the people talking about "the end of the world" and everything. If it's not one thing, it's another, you know?

[There's always talk about the "end of the world" somehow, some way.]

It's 2010 at home for me.

[But how far in 2012? Hm. That seemed far enough though.]

So . . . it's kind of like I'm from your future, huh?

Mn. Wonderland can bring people in from different points in time, even from the same world.

[And soon Minato found Adachi waiting in the hallway. He hoped that he didn't have to wait too long. He nodded to him in greeting.]

— hey, you actually made it here! Not that I had any doubt or anything, haha. You know, you look a lot younger in person.

[Well, at least that was something. What it was, Minato wasn't quite sure.]

[Which, actually, was also true. It was only about ten years age difference. But back to business.]

[He pauses, tilting his head to the side at that.]

Do you mean the closets?

[Minato nodded.]

Food works the same way.

Really? Hey, can you get that from the closets, too?

You could. But the tearooms and kitchen have better food.

That's good to know. I mean, I'd rather eat where the food's good, but I guess beggars can't be choosers, haha.

The food's pretty good anyway. You get what you want.

[Minato recommends the blue velvet cake. Just saying. The food being good probably comes with the Mansion wanting its residents to be happy.]

... You can pick any free room to stay in. It'll also change to what you want.

Sounds like they're leaving a lot of things up to us. That's pretty neat!

Mn. Sometimes.

[For the most part. It is pretty neat, actually, on the whole. For Minato's part, he showed Adachi where the nearest tearoom on the current floor was.]
