hey so um out of curiosity does this place have an infirmary or something?? just wondering!!

[Minato shook his head. It was fine if he didn't know. A lot of people didn't know. And there were lots of reasons why it wasn't known.]

What about at home? What's it like there now?

[And what would Adachi want out of life there, if he did know or could imagine it?]

[He shrugs again, dismissively. How was home? How the hell should he know? . . . this conversation was starting to get uncomfortable for him.]

Quiet, I guess? It's not like this place.

I don't think anything is like this place.

[On top of that, they might not even remember ever being here. But that is neither here nor there, is it?]

You should be careful either way.

I think I've gotten that memo loud and clear! Haha . . . ha . . .

[Minato nodded. Oh. That Souji.]

No, but he definitely took two other keys by force.

[Not that Minato doubted that Adachi couldn't hold his own in a fight. Still though, it's not all that great to hear about things being stolen yet again from the Real Side by Mirrors.]

Then he left, right?

[Well, it figures the Mirror would leave.]

They don't come on this side often. If you don't want them spying, just break a mirror.

[Adachi glances back at the mirror in his room at that.]

Seven years bad luck is better than those guys, huh?

[Minato nodded. True.]

The mirror'll repair itself in an hour. But at least it's a reprieve since they can hear and see us from where they are if the glass is still in tact.

Geez, what a pain in the ass.

Usually when a Mirror comes here, they switch with their counterpart. Only once in a while could we all be on the same side.

Is that how it works? . . . give me a break.

Not all of them are like the one you met today. Some of them are civil.

Which means that their "normal" counterparts are a pain in the ass, right?

It depends. Some Mirrors aren't the opposite of who they're reflecting.

They aren't? Really?

They just have a minimum of one characteristic that's different, either amplified or reversed.
