[001 | Open | Video/Action] I Will Not Bow
[The feed clicks on and shows a stretch of bright blue sky. There's a snatch of someone mumbling to themselves, clearly unaware of the video being recorded.. The voice quite obviously belongs to a young girl.]
- is this thing? Too smooth for a pebble, but not metal either... Weird.
[There's a sniffle, then an impatient huff. The journal is being moved around. Small, stubby fingers move over the camera, knuckles recently scraped raw. There's a flash of an arm, the ground, then bare and dirty feet. The toes flex, burrow in the grass outside the mansion a little. Finally the camera catches a face, more by accident than anything else. It's only half visible, and turned at an angle.
The girl is young, no older than 11 or 12 maybe. Looks East Asian, with strange green and yellow clothes, black hair falling into her face, unruly. The child's face is round and sweet, but the small mouth pressed into a concentrated frown. She's got sand in her hair, on her clothes, hint of sunburn on her cheeks and nose. Her wide eyes are not only red-rimmed as if she was fighting tears just a moment ago, but more noticably very milky, almost entirely white - she's blind.
Her head tilts away from the journal - she really is entirely unaware that she's managed to record herself on video, unfamiliar with the technology and unable to see the visual feedback on the device. Toph, as the girl's name is, lowers the strange object in her hands, makes the camera point at the mansion's walls. All residents watching this will get a lovely, if shaky view of her walking into the building - by punching a 12-year-old-girl-sized hole into the wall. Doors are for sissies. Toph could sneak around and try to find out where she is.
But then again, she could also stomp into the middle of the entrance hall and call out.]
HEY. You dunderheads in here gonna tell me what's up or do I have to knock someone around first?
[Yeah, no, seriously, screw subtlety or letting anyone know she's kinda worried the library collapsed on her head and this is the spirit world's idea of a practical joke. She isn't scared or anything stupid like that, okay, shut up.]

We're not all dunderheads and you're in Wonderland. The entrance to the mansion where everyone lives to be exact.

Toph knows for a fact that there is no one in the hall with her. She can feel that. So where's that voice coming from? She spreads her feet and holds out her hands - that's a fighting stance right there. Unfortunately, it means the weird, smooth object - and with it the camera - is pointed at the ground.]
Who and where are you?
no subject
I'm on the 7th floor of the house, speaking to you through the thing you're holding.
action action we want action
Actually, it's kind of hilarious. Meg can admire the pure destruction just for destruction's sake. She happens to be on the stairs, on her way outside for some reason or another, when she hears the sound of a barefoot midget smashing through the wall.
She stops near the bottom of the staircase, a hand on the railing and leaning over just a bit to see the girl better. ]
You usually go around smashing through walls, or is today just extra special, kid?
Video. Or, well. Audio.
[The Once-ler is perfectly comfortable sassing this strange little extremely strong blind girl, because he is very far away from said extremely strong blind girl at the moment.]
Anyway, this is Wonderland and everybody here is stuck here. No one knows how to get out. Enjoy your new vacation, 'cause you're probably gonna be here a while.
You're stuck here for now, because there's no way to leave, but if you don't focus too much on that, it's not really so bad.
[He tries to grin convincingly because he's not sure he fully believes that.]
The closets give you just about anything you need, and there's loads of rooms around here that you can pick from.
[There's a brief pause while he braces himself, because he just has to ask:]
D'you usually enter buildings like that?

Being Giles, he runs towards the crash, just in time to see the twelve year old girl stomp in.
Oh, dear.]
Um...is there anywhere in particular you'd like to start? [He sounds a little nervous - okay, really kind of freaked out - because she's obviously the culprit of the hole in the wall. Still. Might as well try to negotiate.]
[action]
H'lo. Y'new here?
[action]
Seriously, what the fuck...?
Narrowing his eyes, he can make out the form of a person- no, a kid- standing over the rubble. He makes a face.]
What the hell's wrong with you?
[Never mind the fact that she'd clearly been the one to knock the wall down and is, in all likelihood, strong enough to knock him right on his ass... You don't just go knockin' walls down. It's a security breach of the highest fucking order- he likes his walls intact, thanks.]
[action forever]
Hey, uh, are you okay? [Is she hurt or just...dirty?]
