[action forever] IT'S COOL GUYYYYY!
[Sometimes, you feel like shit and nothing in the world seems like it's going to fix that. And sometimes, that means you start moping in public without really realizing it.
Which means random strangers are like dude, what's up? But in a more old-timey sort of way because this guy seems old-timey and eventually you start talking and he's like, how about we do something you'd do back home to cheer yourself up? And back home is, like, more years ago than it should be, honestly, but you remember just before the game started there was this video that came out. And it was so stupid. So stupid.
Sometimes, you feel like you need to be stupid again.
So you and Ben wander around the mansion (after a brief explanation that all he really has to do is point the camera at you, which he catches onto like a goddamn pro). You don't bother with the mask thing, you just stick your hood up over your head and keep it hovering with windy powers and yep, you look like some freak with a long neck who is somehow insanely cool.
Time to point at some innocent bystanders with the purest essence of funk on your side. And maybe chase some people, y'know, whatever seems stupidest at the moment.]

[A vague pinkening of his cheeks blossoms at that. He might not've meant to have said it out loud.]
Uh, anyway! Does that mean yes, put me in the video Mr. De-vegbert or no, I'm cool with being a camera jockey?

[ he even goes so far as to bow, the mentioning of ~rubbing up on guys~ going over his head. or he just doesn't notice. or he just doesn't care. ]
Or just, like, have me on backup. I'm good.

[No it's mostly for the two of them so why not put Ben in, right? Hehehe.
John grabs the camera from Ben's hands and starts wandering down the hall, trying to think of a place that they could put it so it'd capture both of them.]
I'd use my windy thing to hold it up, only I might forget and drop it. That'd suck.
[Finally, he finds a particularly tall end table and places it carefully, hitting the record button. He steps back and sends wind up his hood to create the illusion of a Cool Guy mask-thing.]
Okay. Commence the rubdown.

and then, respectfully, patting him on the shoulders. ]
It was like that, right?
[ he turns to the camera and then back to john. ] It got it?

Dude, that was awesome! You're a natural in front of the camera. When'd you say you're from, again?

[John grabs the camera and tosses it to Ben again, and soon they are wandering around for more victims once more.]
Y'know, you should totally tell me about where you're from too. Or, uh, when? Probably both, to be honest. There seems to be people from, like, fifty different versions of Earth here already anyway.

Germany. A few centuries ago, looks like. A little village, you know. Marketplace, straw roofs, that kinda thing. Kinda not really much to it, but it's super cool.

[He rubs at his chin thoughtfully.] That's pretty normal-sounding, though. I mean, as far as I know. The more people show up, the fewer of them seem to be from "normal" places. I mean, unless you're leaving something out? Like. Aliens or something? My world has aliens.
