[ Hannibal does not make himself known on the network right away. He instead explores, reading what he can and figuring out exactly where he is. Wonderland. He's not above believing in what was once thought impossible, so long all the evidence fits. God works in mysterious, cruel ways after all, and Hannibal takes it in stride. He takes a day to officially announce his arrival. Making a move on the board without knowing what game you’re playing is be naive at best, but more likely just plain stupid. His device is comfortable enough in his hand, like the familiar shape of his ipad, and he’s already scrolled through, until he found he understood the situation well enough. Only then, after learning what he could and checking his person suit in the mirror does he show himself. It’s a video, and Hannibal is the model of concerned professionalism. ]

Good evening, my name is Doctor Hannibal Lecter, and it seems that I’m what you might call a new arrival. I’ve combed through the archives and believe that I have a good understanding of the situation at hand. While I do find it terribly rude that I have been torn from my home without the courtesy of an invitation, one can hardly expect such a formality from any higher power.

[ Not that he considers himself to be lesser in any way, but it’s curious, and he keeps the thought to himself, as he does so many others. He then pauses for a moment with his tongue to the roof of his mouth, choosing his words, before continuing. ]

It seems that I’m not alone in being pulled from my world into this one, so I find myself somewhat obligated by my profession to provide you all with a warning. There is a man here now, another new arrival, by the name of Will Graham. While I do consider him to be a friend and a good man, he has a history of mental instability and is currently on trial for multiple murders. I would suggest exercising caution in his presence and referring to me should you have any questions or concerns.

[Do you see that waters of being genuinely concerned in his eyes? Good. ]

Just Meg. [ She could go with Masters, but she never quite took to the last name quite like she has the first. Plus, being formal? Yeah, right, not this demon. ] I've got all sorts of opinions, but that topic is very dear to my heart.

[ Being pretty legit right here - she's never been one to hide how tickled pink she gets over other's misery. Demons do as they do. ]

We've been due for another killer to run around - our last one is out of commission. Tricked everyone into thinking he was just some harmless puppy, then next thing we know it's Valentine's Day and he's tearing out hearts left and right.

[ His psychiatrist face is on because this one is interesting, this one he feels the urge to pry at, with calm curiosity. ]

And yet you don't seem very concerned. Might I ask why?

[ If there's anything Meg enjoys more than other's misery it's attention. That's her bread and butter right there. ]

Let's just say I've seen some things. [ Amazing how unbothered someone can seem when they're talking about violence and murder. ] Name whatever sick, twisted thing you can think of and I've seen it. I've been around the block a few times.

[ Comes with the territory of calling Hell her hometown. ]

[ His lips quirk up in a smile, and for the moment he is sure she hasn't seen nearly as much twisted, sick happenings as he has. Laymen always do seem to think that they know the best and worst of life, even when they have yet to claw at the surface. ]

I don't doubt it.

[ Meg has gotten used to people not taking her seriously when she talks about this kind of thing. Even showing herself as a demon has been met with a shrug and a 'so what'. At first, it was annoying but now she gets a kick out of it.

Especially if she ever gets a chance to prove that she should be taken seriously. For now, though, she's content to just smile back, less of a sharp smirk and more of a half smile. ]

It happens when you get a few years from Hell under your belt. [ Which she means literally, of course, but won't correct him if he takes it any other way. ] Speaking of, I'm pretty sure Wonderland here is an undiscovered level of it. You should have tons of fun.

We all have our own idea of Hell, but I assure you this has yet to prove to be mine.

Should you want to talk about how Wonderland is treating you, however, I am always available for office hours.

Give it time. I'll ask you about that Hell thing in a few months.

[ His offer amuses her, if only because lol helping her is not a thing. Also if he wants to dig at her brain a little, he can have at it.

She's got no problem with that. It'll be a fun little game to pass the time, anyway. ]

Might take you up on that. [ She does enjoy talking about herself, after all. She's quite awesome. ] You just might find yourself hearing all kinds of sad tales from the poor saps around this place if you keep up that offer. Be sure you've got lots of tissues.

So long as they find their way into a trash bin and not littering the floor I'll have as many tissues as needed.

[ Still buzzing from Franklin leaving a tissue on his counter, seriously. ]
