❧ Entry No.1
[ Hannibal does not make himself known on the network right away. He instead explores, reading what he can and figuring out exactly where he is. Wonderland. He's not above believing in what was once thought impossible, so long all the evidence fits. God works in mysterious, cruel ways after all, and Hannibal takes it in stride. He takes a day to officially announce his arrival. Making a move on the board without knowing what game you’re playing is be naive at best, but more likely just plain stupid. His device is comfortable enough in his hand, like the familiar shape of his ipad, and he’s already scrolled through, until he found he understood the situation well enough. Only then, after learning what he could and checking his person suit in the mirror does he show himself. It’s a video, and Hannibal is the model of concerned professionalism. ]
Good evening, my name is Doctor Hannibal Lecter, and it seems that I’m what you might call a new arrival. I’ve combed through the archives and believe that I have a good understanding of the situation at hand. While I do find it terribly rude that I have been torn from my home without the courtesy of an invitation, one can hardly expect such a formality from any higher power.
[ Not that he considers himself to be lesser in any way, but it’s curious, and he keeps the thought to himself, as he does so many others. He then pauses for a moment with his tongue to the roof of his mouth, choosing his words, before continuing. ]
It seems that I’m not alone in being pulled from my world into this one, so I find myself somewhat obligated by my profession to provide you all with a warning. There is a man here now, another new arrival, by the name of Will Graham. While I do consider him to be a friend and a good man, he has a history of mental instability and is currently on trial for multiple murders. I would suggest exercising caution in his presence and referring to me should you have any questions or concerns.
[Do you see that waters of being genuinely concerned in his eyes? Good. ]

It's the most obvious thing to ask, as far as she's concerned.]
Did he commit the murders?
no subject
It's entirely possible. More than possible, actually, but I have hope that perhaps we've missed something.

he looks nothing like anthony hopkins.he goes on about mental instability, but really clarisse is beginning to think he's the one that's mentally unstable. ]Yeah, sure. I'm thinking maybe we should exercise caution around you, "Dr. Lecter."
[ yes, those are finger quotes. can you tell how much she doesn't believe you. ]

And why would that be, miss...?

Do you often introduce yourself with a disclaimer, Doctor Lecter?
[Evelyn asks, choosing her words carefully. She doesn't want to condemn a man upon his arrival, but then, she has had rather unsavoury encounters with supposedly 'nice and friendly' people in the past.]

Not often, but occasionally a situation warrants breaching my code of ethics.

In any case, she isn't prepared to hear such a warning handed out about Will Graham. Mental instability? Wanted for murder? Will hadn't struck her as anything like that, and while Martha doesn't see why this Dr. Lecter would be spreading lies, she's finding it hard to swallow after their conversation.
Maybe Will had been a little strange, but nothing had indicated to her that he was some mass murderer.]
He's looking for you. Will, I mean. Dr. Lecter, may I ask how you two know each other? He seemed lucid when I spoke to him.
[She's certainly willing to hear both sides here. Tom hadn't seemed like a killer either, and look where that belief had gotten her. Killed, is the answer.]
[video]
Lucid is good, though lucid does, for him, mean calculating and very much aware. I'm not at liberty to discuss his psychological state in depth without his permission or the permission of the court, but I would warn not to mistake lucid for safe.
As for who he is to me, Will Graham is my friend, though he's taken to denying that as of late.

That's a pretty rough thing to go announcing to everyone in Wonderland. [He tips his head to the side and frowns curiously.] Are you saying he actually murdered, or is this just a warning that he might be a murderer?
[He'd feel a lot more secure and a lot less worried about everyone here if he had a solid answer.]
video;
Unfortunately, I can't say for sure. I hold on to hope that he has indeed been framed for the murders as he claims, but the evidence is quite convincing.

[ Furious doesn't begin to describe Will Graham at present. Unlike earlier, he lets it ride with wild abandon in the tense line of his body. Of course. Of course. What did he expect?
Trading one cell for another, that's all Wonderland would be if Hannibal gets his way. No matter the reality, Hannibal wants Will imprisoned and alienated. Suspicions as to when, exactly, Hannibal came from confirmed, Will's jaw is tight when he speaks with betrayal burning hot coals in the pit of his stomach. ]
Can I speak with you in private?
video;
Of course, Will. I'm in room 669, on the first floor. My open door policy still stands as it was, you are welcome whenever you like.

Better watch out with all that fancy talking, you'll look like you know things. [ Her personal philosophy is keeping that kind of thing on the DL. Less people annoying her. ] Now Wonderland's caught us a doctor and an unstable murderer. [ There's a pause and she shrugs, the corners of her mouth curving up a bit. ] Should be interesting to watch.
[video]
Yes it should be. The suffering of others has always had a cathartic effect on the human psyche. Do you have an opinion on schadenfreude, Miss...?

He'll first sate himself on the curious visual of a man who could be the spitting imagine of a certain French Captain of his passing acquaintance, and then... why, then he'll see what else might come of this! ]
I've no questions, but some... concerns about your own safety. Surely no man, friend or not, could be too pleased with being... exposed. And he has already made inquiries after you, you know.
video;
Anyway he smiles, generally pleasant, in thanks for the sentiment, with the accompaniment of the slightest acknowledging nod. ]
I believe that I will be alright, but thank you.

Jesse hears all of that. Really, he does, and he feels for you, "Dr. Hannibal Lecter".
But sorry, that part at the end about how they got another psycho on the loose? Forgive him, but he's about had his fill of crazy people wandering around and shanking people in the halls and so bringing people casseroles and welcoming them to the neighborhood is gonna have to wait.]
Oh my god. Another one? Seriously? What is it with this place? Jesus-- [CONCERNED.] Shit, uh... Is he like... [A pause, because this is gonna sound weird as hell to a new person:] Is he human?
[Apparently the other one was and it hadn't actually mattered... But he'd just like to know if this is a "lock your doors and windows" situation or a "get the fucking garlic and spray paint, we got occult crap" situation.]

None of that shows for even a second though, not one bit. ]

And now he jumps on Hannibal. No one in the universe has sympathy for him though, not one fucking soul. ]
I know Will! Knew him. Didn't know he was a killer.
[ The excitement in his voice tumbles into uncertainty and lands on the jagged rocks between awkwardness and shock. In truth, America knew little about Will, but nothing in the time they spent together indicated he was capable of violence. Hell, he was such a sickly, sweaty mess, he looked like a strong gust of wind could knock him over. He's having a much harder time digesting the whole "Will is on trial for multiple murders" thing than Hannibal is having coming to terms with the "you are being held in an alternate, possibly magical dimension against your will" thing.
After a few uncomfortable seconds, he rubs the side of his face and reaches the only conclusion he can. ]
Well. Shit. Innocent until proven guilty I guess, but... man I ain't lookin' to get my head chopped off or my innards ripped out again, especially now that they're all in their proper places and not on fire or nothin'. And here I thought Will was so fragile he'd break a leg if he walked down the stairs too fast!
[ And then he perks up just to deliver a completely unwanted nonsequiter. ]
I doctored him a bit! Back when he was all sick!
[ If by "doctored" he means "got him on the road to opium addiction" then yes, fantastic fucking job. ]
( video )
If it helps, cutting off heads doesn't seem to be his part of his modus operandi.
[ Though the idea has been planted, America, and if he ever does decide to off you, that might just be a part of it. Poetically placed, of course. ]

stiles is a little unsure. okay, stiles is a lot of unsure. what kind of asshole names their kid after hannibal lecter? that just can't be some creepy coincidence, can it? stiles would like to think that there aren't any cannibals in wonderland, because seriously, they had that problem once during an event and stiles is not investigating leftover human viscera ever again. ever.
this dude is like as slimy as peter, which, stiles would guess makes sense for someone named after a cannibal. either way, he raises both of his eyebrows when he decides to answer the feed, because if someone's potentially dangerous (or creepy), he's gotta know about it. right?
but who's the more dangerous one, is the question. this will graham dude, or hannibal himself? stiles' eyes narrow just a little, in his typical thinking face. ] For someone who thinks he's a good man, you don't sound super convinced that he's innocent, dude.
Thanks for the warning, I guess, but things around here are kind of weird when it comes to police force. And murder. [ this is 100% the wrong thing to be telling hannibal lecter ] Wonderland's kinda weird, period.
video;
[ His lips curl up into a polite smile, just barely. ]
And I don't believe it would be Wonderland if it were not weird, do you?

I do hope you're not trying to induce a panic amongst the residents here, Doctor Lecter. [She's amicable and charming, despite her words.]
Would Mr. Graham have a reason to target any of us? Or does he have specific victims in mind?
video;
I can't speak to I know his mind, but I don't believe he intends to target anyone at present. I simply felt it necessary that everyone was aware of the situation. Should his instability return, I can't speak for the safety of the community.
