[Hello, Wonderland! Here's Adam who, for once, isn't smiling but looks rather thoughtful instead. He's considered what he's about to do, opted not to do it for a while, and finally has come to the conclusion that now is the time to take action.

His reasons for what he's going to say are fairly convoluted. On one hand, he wants to deliver a pretty specific message just in case it proves necessary later. On the other hand, he wants a certain Jotun to stop hiding away and start actually learning the lesson Adam's trying to teach him. So obviously, a mass video makes the most sense. It both outs Loki to those who aren't aware of his recent changes and it lets those out there who might take advantage of those changes that it wouldn't be a smart move on their part.

With a soft clearing of his throat, he folds his hands in front of him and gets on with it.]

Right. So here's the thing. Some of you know that Loki's not really himself right now and some of the you who know it are most likely thinkin' about takin' 'vantage of that fact.

[He's not naming names but he's definitely looking at a select few. He just gives the feed a pointed look and continues.]

Way I see it, that's not all that fair and 'snot gonna do much t'help him figure stuff out if folks are just runnin' around bullyin' him just cos they can or trickin' him just cos they think him bein' human now makes him weaker or somethin'. So I reckon consider this your warnin'. 'Less Loki does something to deserve it, no beatin' up on him and stuff or you're gonna have t'deal with me.

[His eyes flash briefly - something dark, dangerous, and positively terrifying present in them for a split second - then he smiles brightly and once again looks like nothing more than a happy, carefree boy.]

[ James doesn't know what to think of this. Bullying isn't nice, but from the stories he heard, neither is Loki. ]

You do know some of the things he's done to some of the people here, right?

[Adam just continues to smile.]

Course I do. Don't mean I'm gonna let what he's done 'fore stop him from hopefully learnin' a lesson now. And he won't be learnin' much of a lesson if he's busy gettin' beat up by a bunch of superheroes when he can't even stick up for himself proper.

What lesson are you hoping to teach him? Humility?

[ James is skeptical of such a thing being possible, considering the stories he’s heard. ]

[ Only this: ] I agree. People should be leaving him alone.

[He nods, still grinning brightly.]

Good. I was hopin' some of you were but didn't want to cheat and peek.

I'm not the one you should be worried about. [ Surprisingly enough. ]

I take it you know some of the stunts he pulled. A lot of the people he messed with are here too, and some might be a little more volatile than others.

Not to rain on anyone's Helpful Handy parade here, okay, but you do realize everything he's gotten he's started, right. My suggestion would be a shorter leash. [He spreads his arms slightly, giving a shrug.]

It's simple. He leaves me and mine alone, I'll leave him alone. I've got bigger fish to fry, anyway.

[Adam considers Tony's suggestion for a few seconds, or at least looks as though he's considering it, before giving a slight shake of his head.]

A shorter leash means he won't learn what he needs t'learn. And I'm not sayin' you folks can't stick up for yourselves. I just don't want t'see him dropped off some roof or somethin' when he can't stick up for himself proper. That's all.

You act like he can learn. Which, kudos for you for being more forgiving than I would, but the fact is, he's pretty much beyond any help. Let him self-destruct. That's what he deserves.

[Of all the forms she might have expected the antichrist to take, a small boy isn't among them. Yet he claims to be responsible, and for a moment, there's a hint of something not at all childlike or even human in his eyes.

So, as she always does, Pepper gives herself a bit of time to think over what she's going to say before she starts the video to reply.]

I'm a little curious [Or extremely so]; just what lesson are you trying to teach Loki?

[Adam's grin is friendly, albeit somewhat knowing. He's been patiently waiting for a response and doesn't hesitate once asked the question.]

No 'fense or nothin' but I think that's really 'tween me and him.

Well, clearly I can't make you answer if you don't want to. [And if he weren't clearly capable of power beyond her understanding, Pepper might not feel the need to press. Yet she's not asking because of Loki; she wants to know more about him.]

But I'd like to understand more about the situation. I'm one of the people from the same world as Loki, along with a number of people I care about. [The group that had, in essence, been threatened by this boy. It's left a bad taste in Pepper's mouth, particularly since the power he holds is fairly evident.] I don't think any of my friends would purposely bully him, but you do know that there is a history there?

[Do you see this face, Adam? This is the face of a very unamused former demigod. He's been trying very, very hard to stay under the radar and here go you advertising him to the entirety of Wonderland? Yes, he's quite unhappy.]

Was this broadcast entirely necessary? You do realise, informing the entirety of my enemies of my current state of weakness will only promote violence.

[Well, it would if he had made any actual other enemies here. So far, he really hasn't managed to piss off anyone other than the Avengers. And the Wicked Witch. Probably.]

[Adam doesn't even have the decency to pretend to look chagrined. He just shakes his head a little and leans back slightly in his seat, casually folding his hands and placing them behind his head.]

I dunno 'bout all that. They seem pretty understanding so far. [A shrug.] 'Sides, if I didn't say somethin', you were just gonna keep on tryin' to hide and wind up stuck like you're stuck forever. [His smile fades slightly and his look turns pointed.] You're never gonna get your magic back if you do that.

[There's a light growl of frustration from the former demigod, but he seems to keep his temper reined in.]

Yes, of course they have. They've already had their fun, testing my patience when that insufferable woman revealed my state of weakness.

[Adam should be proud, Loki already turned down the chance at new powers from a demon. Not that that's really a major concern.]

[Well, that answered one question.]

So that was your handiwork, was it?

[Adam just keeps smiling.]

Yeah. That was me. Figured if it worked for his brother, maybe it'll work for him too. [He shrugs casually.] And if it don't, least it's keepin' everybody else safe for a bit.

[He looked like a normal child, but there was something about him that was different and she hadn't missed that flare of threat. Interesting. What was he? Or should it be who was he? Either way, if he was powerful enough to rob Loki of his powers, he was someone of interest.]

Well, we can hope. Although I'm not sure a lessen in humility will solve... everything. [Loki had more issues than just Thor's godlike pride to be trimmed.] And I doubt he's very happy with you over it.

[Although he doesn't seem overly worried over what Loki might exact in revenge. Even more curious.]

[She's not really afraid, especially as she already has what she wants. "Messing with Loki" isn't what she's after. His soul is now her property and she's more than happy to have achieved that. However, it doesn't change the fact that she is angry to see such a masterpiece desecrated by Lucifer's sniveling brat.]

So this would be your handiwork. I shouldn't be surprised. It certainly has your fingerprints all over it. Such a magnificent creature now reduced to...human. It's shameful

[Adam's smile is still present and as carefree as ever but there's a hardened look in his eyes and his tone is much too casual.]

If'n you ask me, the fact that he wasn't workin' alone but is the only one facin' consequences is the shameful part.

The fact that he is being punished at all is rather shameful. It is almost like punishing a child for meditation rather than action. I'm certain our father could tell you about his experiences for being punished unfairly.

_{[Peter is much more prone to chatting to his acquaintances face-to-face when he wants to spend time with them or share a thought on his mind, but the younger boy's making a point of play-acting, so Peter responds in kind even if his reply is private as they usually tend to be.]}

Are you still causing mischief?

_{[For once, Peter isn't in the middle of this conflict, or done a thing to sway one side or the other. It's a bit of a novel change for him, just going about his own business, hands clean. Maybe he should be concerned Adam might do to him what he's done to Loki one day, but Peter had also mistakenly trusted Wendy and the boys not to betray him once upon a time.
