General game changes
Most aspects of the game will remain the same. Here are the noticeable changes:
1) Rather than posting IC things in your character's journal, you will post them inentranceway.
2) You no longer have to add or remove friends. You only have to join and subscribe to the game's five communities. These areentranceway, entrancelogs, entranceooc, mirroruniverse, and entranceworks.
3) Using labeling tags in the communities will be incredibly important so that players can easily find entries and threads.
4) Rather than an F-list add/remove post, we now have a Drop Post. When dropping a character, muns should do so by commenting on that entry so that the mods can remove the character from the lists.
5) Players will now be responsible for proving activity on activity checks. Specific requirements and rules for ACs will be decided on and posted soon.

How to import content from LiveJournal
Once you've made your journal at DreamWidth, you can import content from LiveJournal to it. This includes profile data, friends, custom security groups, journal entries, comments on journal entries, tags, and icons. To import content, do the following:
1) Go to the Import Content page.
2) Select LiveJournal, input the username and password of the journal you want to import content from, then select Continue.
3) Pick the items you want to import. Select Continue.
4) Confirm your import by selecting Start Import.
Imports usually only take a few minutes, but it can take longer if there are a lot of jobs in the queue or if you have a lot of stuff to import.

Things that will need to be re-posted
1) Character info on the Taken Characters list for each of your characters.
2) Rooming info on the Rooming List for each of your characters.
3) Series and character request comments on the Wanted Characters post.
Things that do not need to be re-posted
1) Event suggestions submitted prior to the move. These have been backed up.
2) Comments to the Suggestions or Inquiries posts. These have also been backed up.

Posting by community
entranceway: This community is for all regular IC action and network posts made on the Mansion's real side--write and format them just like you would in a journal-based game, but post them to the community instead. This community will also be used for event announcements by NPCs, event planning posts and mod posts.
entrancelogs: Post action and prose logs here using the form on the comm's profile page, just like you did at LJ.
entranceooc: All OOC posts should go in this community, such as hiatus/slowatus notices, new character/mun introductions, drop announcements, or changes in contact information. You may also put planning posts for character-driven mini-/side-plots here. Again, this is just like we did at LJ.
mirroruniverse: All IC action and network posts made on the Mansion's mirror side should be made in this community. This includes posts made by real things on the wrong side of the mirror during mirror events.
entranceworks: Post any and all fanworks in this community, using the guidelines listed on the comm's profile page. IC and OOC memes will also be posted here.

Tagging by community
entranceway: Tags in this community should be done in one of two ways:
1) If you are posting an entry, tag it with your character's series, followed by the character's full name, separated by a colon. (Example: dead like me: georgia lass.)
2) If you are replying to an entry, tag it with the word "reply", and the character's full name, separated by a colon. (Example: reply: alex kralie.)
Please do not create any other tags for this community.
entrancelogs: Tag with the full name of each character involved in the log. Please do not create any other tags for this community. In the case of East Asian characters, please check to see if a last name-first name tag exits before creating a first name-last name tag. This will help us avoid multiple tags for the same character.
entranceooc: Try to use the tags that already exist for the community, but if there are none that are applicable, go ahead and create your own.
mirroruniverse: Tags in this community will indicate if the character is a mirror or a real thing and the character's full name, separated by a colon. (Examples: real: sokka, mirror: dean winchester, npc: alice.) Please do not create any other tags for this community.
