[So Tybalt's run about as ragged as any pureblood can be. He didn't sleep during that entire fiasco with the Jabberwock, didn't eat all that much, had to deal with his girlfriend's crazy Mirror, and hasn't actually been able to do any magic for about the last week.

Needless to say, he sounds a little pissed]

So. Is that normal around Christmastime here?

I think so. I sure don't.

Neither do I. I can't see how this place could be better than somewhere else.

No, but it's also not life if you're, you know, dead. Unless you're a zombie, but then you have all these extra laws and regulations you have to deal with.

The holiday monster usually picks a different time of year, but the rest is about par for the course.

And that monster was only now killed?

It's tenacious. Expect it back in another year or two.

[ Sooner, depending on however that capture turned out. It's not the usual spiel, and Philip doubts that it will be an improvement over the trusty old 'sword to the neck' trick. ]

Generally speaking of killing it one way doesn't work, people should find another way of handling the situation.

Many don't stay long enough to bother. You're welcome to try next time.

Until there is an actual plan on how to kill it, I don't think I'll take that risk. Going in with no plan tends to just end poorly.

[ Right, because nobody ever thought of making a plan before. It's been nothing but pitchforks and torches on the road so far. ]

We have a great routine plan for the killing. Getting it to stay dead is the tricky part.

Has anyone tried iron? Silver? Both? Or simply burning it?
