[ At first, the video on the screen is kind of crazy, and it's hard to make out just what's going on. There are fingers and blue sky, and then the bottom half of a little girl's face--and a close-up of her braces--as she taps the phone on her chin. She doesn't realize it's on, let alone that it can connect to literally everyone in Wonderland. She doesn't even know where the heck she is, even if it looks like some weird fantasy land. She would probably assume she was on some cool magic quest thing, if she hadn't been facing off against an all powerful freak of nature before arriving.

She drops her hand to her side, and yep, that sure is a beautiful, upside-down picture of the mansion grounds. ]

Alright, you proved your stupid point! You're as powerful as you are pointy. Can I go home now? I know you're there!

[ Mabel sighs and fidgets with the phone, turning it around in her hand as she just kind of...wanders around, looking for a magic door or...or something. Something to get her out of this mess and back to her puppet show, so she can punch Bill in her brother's face. Ugh. ]

Okay, okay, think Mabel. If you were an evil triangle, where would you hide the exit...?

[ She's got nothing, though, so she continues her aimless search. Eventually, Mabel makes her way to the mansion itself and sits on one of the front steps, setting the phone next to her when she does. Finally, finally the crazy camera angles stop. She sighs and rests her chin on her hands. She doesn't look defeated, exactly, just a little worried. Because whenever crazy stuff happens, Dipper's always been there by her side with information and plans. But right now, it's just her, and she has no idea what to do.

She looks down at the little phone and...woah, hey, it's on. Did she accidentally call someone? Maybe they can help! She scoops it up and puts it to her ear. ]

Hello? Hey, is anyone there?

[ ooc; People are more than welcome to run into her while she's wandering around the grounds. Because really, she's everywhere. ]

Mabel! [Dipper stares at the camera for a moment before all but falling out of bed in his haste to go find her.]

Stay right there--I'll be right down there! You're in front of the Mansion, right? Never mind... I'll find you!

[And now she gets crazy camera angles because he's got the phone on still but he's running.]

[Now that spring has sprung the Pie Maker spends roughly 37.6% of his time outside, instead of the usual 15.28%, which gives him warm afternoons in the gardens and greenhouse as well as time to assess the status of the beehives further off near the woods. (Said beehives are doing well and harvesting the honey for pie dough has been a resounding success for both deliciousness of his pastries, and making him feel less homesick about Chuck.)

Walking out of the foyer and under the portico Ned almost treads on a small person, side-stepping at the very last minute with an exclamation of surprise and a graceful turn that has him swinging around one of the colonnade columns.]

Um. [It's a kid. He narrowly missed imprinting the soles of his Converse high-tops on a kid. Geez.] Hey.

Dipper!? Yeah, I--[ Woah wait, what? She doesn't have time to say anything more to him before he's off running. For a second, she's relieved her brother is around, but then she remembers that Bill is probably still in there, just--pretending for some reason. Maybe to keep her off her guard?

She stays where she is instead of scampering off elsewhere, because this is the only clue she's come across so far. When he gets there, though, she's on her feet and doing her best to look like she means business, with her arms crossed and a frown on her face. She doesn't know where to look, though, so she's actually turned away from him. Which is probably a good thing, considering her plan right now is to tackle fake Dipper and find a way to get rid of Bill. ]

Mabel! [Dipper shuts off the phone and shoves it into his vest pocket as he bursts out the door.] How did you get here? When did you get here? Are you okay? Did the gnome guy get to you?

...An evil triangle?

[What. Why would a triangle be evil? Shouldn't geometrical shapes just sort of be true neutral or whatever? He wants to judge even harder, but...she sounds kind of worried, and he remembers being freaked out and scared when he got here, so maybe he shouldn't be quite so hard on her.

But, he's not going to lie either.]

Um. Sorry, but...I don't think there is an exit. Everyone who's here has been stuck for a while now.

An evil triangle?

[ Mabel jumps a little in surprise at his surprised explanation, and scoots away just a little. She hadn't honestly been expecting anyone else to be around. Mostly because she was pretty sure 'sticking Mabel in a weird place all alone' was part of Bill's evil plan. ]

Woah! Hey. Sorry, I didn't mean to surprise you. [ She smiles up at Ned all cheerful like. What a cute adult. He should be part of a boy band. ]

Yeah, that's right. He's kiiind of the evilest triangle ever, too. And a huge creep that's possessing my--

[ She happens to look down and realize that this phone isn't just a phone, but it can do video chats, too!? Wow, talk about fancy. She's about to continue on and address there being "No way out" (haha as if) but she gets distracted by his appearance. No way. Seriously, why is this happening? ]

Ugh, it's one of you guys.

Yeah, his name is Bill, and he's probably the biggest jerk in the universe?

[He wants to address how a triangle could possibly possess anybody, but he's taken aback by her reaction to seeing him, and he looks around a little, as if maybe she's talking about someone behind him that he can't see. But no, he's alone.]

...Uh. Wh-What do you mean? One of which guys? [Huh. That sounds silly. Is that grammatically correct? ...Maaaaybe? Wirt frowns a little and tries again.] ...What are you talking about?

It's hard to say what I would do if I was an evil triangle. Where did you last see it?

[ Luna opts for helpful and no-nonsense. ]

I haven't seen any evil triangles here, but admittedly I don't know what makes a triangle evil.

[ Mabel takes a step back when he shows up, and then inwardly scolds herself, because she's supposed to mean business! Wow, he...really sounds like Dipper, though. It has her hesitating. ]

You can stop pretending, I know it's you, you creep. [ She crosses her arms again, to look serious, but she actually seems a little unsure. ]

He was possessing my brother and ruining my sock puppet rock opera.

[ All for her brother's stupid journal yeesh. ]

I dunno if he still looks like my bro bro, but he's yellow, has one eye, and wears a top hat.

You know which guys. [ How could he not know which guys. ] Look, I told you people once already, and I'll say it again; I don't want to be you're weird gnome queen! So go find someone else, okay?

[Wha-- oh. That story is familiar and Wirt doesn't even have the energy to be anxious about it anymore. This is like, the third time this week he's gotten accused of being an actual gnome (though he's...about fifty percent sure April had been making fun of him. Maybe) and he's just done. He's so done, and he puts his hands up in front of him.]

No, no. No. No. Stop. Nope.

[He tugs off his hat, revealing awful embarrassing hat hair underneath, but even that's better than being called a mythical woodland...critter...guy. He does try to smooth it down at least once, but it just sticks up like that.]

I'm not a gnome and I'm not trying to marry anyone! Time's all messed up here and it was Halloween in my world before I got dragged to this place. I-It's just a costume! I didn't even know gnomes were real anywhere until this other kid threatened to come after me with a leafblower!

[HMPH. Why are these little kids so rude?!]

Mabel? [Pocket dimensions are strange and all but it takes something a lot worse than that to get Mabel to act this serious. Dipper stops, holding up his hands, and takes a single step towards her.] It's me. Your brother. Why are you--

[Something she'd said earlier suddenly registers. In his hurry to find Mabel he hadn't paid as much attention to her words as maybe he should have. But now that he thinks about it, she'd been talking a lot about points and triangles. And evil. That was an all too familiar combination. His eyes widen a little. She can't mean....]

Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

Oh yeah, I know. My whole summer has been one crazy thing after another, though, so I guess I'm used to it.

Did you have a weird run in with a hipster cult?

No, but I did get proposed to by a bunch of gnomes.

[There's a tall girl dressed all in black - black dress, black gloves, flowing black hair, sporting a black umbrella - who eerily looks down at poor Mabel Pines. She slowly tilts her head.]

[The Pie Maker, while convinced that they are all here for someone's evil plan, is certainly not of the opinion that the blame rests solely on a floating triangle, and wouldn't that be ridiculous either way? Shapes of a geometric and logical persuasion should, if anything, be opposed to Wonderland's tendency toward the illogical.]

No, no, that's- ...you didn't, I'm just- [Preternaturally disposed toward anxiety.] -I'm fine. I'm Ned.

[With all the grace of a baby giraffe finding its feet on an ice-covered lake Ned straightens, clearing his throat and shoving his hands into his pockets. Old habit, you understand.]

You...must...be new here. Are you new here?

[ She looks quite serious about that and goes so far as he look up from the device to check the immediate area. ]

My name is Luna. What's yours?

[ Yeah, she means exactly what he thinks she means, and she seems (kind of) sure of herself on this particular matter. She stomps towards him, to jab a finger intimidatingly and try to poke him in the shoulder. ] Because, my brother went and got his butt possessed! So there's no way you're him, not really.

[ She crosses her arms again. ]

It's time to spill them beans, Bill.
