[Souji spent the first day of the event scouring the inn and the surrounding area to see to what extent Wonderland had tried to recreate it. Right down to the seals over some of the doors, the inn itself is almost perfect. Almost.

There's no better word than "moping" for what he spent the rest of yesterday doing, but now it's the second day and he feels up to addressing the network. And after a day of watching James and Sirius completely flounder at things like wearing a ~~yukata~~ robe properly and using chopsticks and sleeping on a futon, he thinks he probably needs to. Everyone is being subjected to his memory and he can at least offer some...cultural assistance to those who might want it.]

This is my event. [Gotta start somewhere.] This is the Amagi Inn and the town down the hill is Inaba. It's too bad you can't get to it--it's nice there.

I know most people in Wonderland right now aren't Japanese. If you need someone to explain how to do things here, I don't mind answering questions.

...Though it doesn't really matter, I guess. [It's not like there's any penalty for stabbing your food with your chopsticks, even if it's kind of impolite.]

That's one possibility. [The most annoying one.] It also might not be able to sustain a memory that large. The last time we had an event in Inaba, we were stuck at the school and unable to leave its grounds.

I see. I hadn't considered that. [ But it's valuable information none the less. ] If that's true, then their power has limits.

It gets messed up sometimes. The best thing I can compare it to is getting the flu or your computer getting a virus. Things get scrambled.

It's minor, but it is an opening; a weakness of sorts.

I'm not sure how we can exploit it. Normally, we have our hands full just staying in one piece.

This does appear to be kinder in comparison to the other "events" I've heard so much about...

It is. We get this kind occasionally, where the only real danger is ourselves.

It seems to be luck, but there's no real way to tell. Awhile back, someone was keeping track of the events and their order, but she's been gone a long time.

I see. I take it there's no record left of her findings?

Not that I know of. It might be worth starting it up again, though. We'd be starting from scratch, but it would be something.

Yes, I believe that would be valuable information. If there is a pattern to the type of events that occur, to the people they're taken from, or if there are repeat occurrences...all of this could be relevant.

[He nods. Totally concurs.]

The main challenge is that it's not always easy to tell whose an event is. Sometimes the person doesn't know themselves, and sometimes they don't want to admit to it.

That's understandable. There are secrets we would rather not share...but given that we're forced to face them in full, harboring them won't help.

Agreed. Some events can be particularly damaging, though. It's understandable that some people might be worried about retribution.

Indeed. Perhaps some information would be best taken in confidence. Anonymity may not be prudent in these circumstances, so we would need some record of who is affected, but I can understand not wanting it broadcast.
