[SO there's a wedding in Wonderland soon. Very soon. Things Hayley has for it: A date. Things she does not have for it: An outfit.

Guess who kinda procrastinated on this?

Since she knows Elena ("Elena") is here, she'll reach out to her, see if she'd be willing to be a second set of eyes to help her find a decent thing to wear. They need to hang out here anyway, be real friends here, so perfect excuse for such things.]

Hey Elena, are you up for me owing you one later and helping me out now to be a second pair of eyes to help me find something that looks at least half decent to wear this Wonderland wedding? Super last minute, but figured we could also use the chance to actually hang out.

[admittedly this was not a text she was expecting but given hayley is still refering to her as elena it dawns on her she is probably the only person from home that doesn't know who she is. katherine being katherine goes along with it because it gives her a chance to maybe learn a bit more about the other girl who seems to be another enemy of hers for reasons she has yet to figure out.

her first though is almost disgust because who would even ask elena for fashion advice? in this instance hayley should consider herself lucky she's not elena, if she ever figures that part out but it also doesn't hurt that she mentioning owing her one either] Oh yeah, of course! I'd love to help and getting to hang out more is definitely a bonus.

[luckily, the brief drama with katherine is more or less ancient history for hayley. a lot of big things had happened both in mystic falls and new orleans since then, and it sort of made anything with katherine back home seem like nothing in comparison.

it'll be hilarious for hayley when katherine comes to collect on that favour though, probably. hilarious in a facepalm way, but hey, details.]
