video;
[Souji is for once not in the diner. He needed a day off, and the weary look on his face says as much. With both Ned and Tohru gone now, they're quite short staffed.
His tired expression isn't the only thing out of place in this video, though. He's sitting at his desk, one elbow on its surface and his cheek resting on his palm, his room visible behind him.
Also visible are hundred of parakeets. They are everywhere, all chirping and trilling and fluttering around. There a couple are preening on Souji's shoulders and another is picking through his hair from its perch on top of his head.
Though Souji likes animals, if anything, this just makes him even more tired.]
The closets are still acting up.
[He sighs through his nose as though to add "But you probably already knew that."]
The events are combining again, the last one wasn't announced, some parts of the events are lingering after they finish... Something's going to happen soon.
[He's absolutely sure of that, but his solemnity is ruined by a green, fluffed up parakeet strutting into the feed and taking up the entire frame, turning its head this way and that until Souji uses the back of his free hand to gently scoot the bird aside.
In other news:]
If anyone wants a bird... [He gestures, not caring to finish.] I opened the window, but they don't seem interested in leaving.

You sound like a bird whisperer.
( Or maybe just one of those scarecrows that birds like sitting on instead of being scared of. Seeing the amount of birds on him is a pretty funny sight, if not worrying that they might hungrily peck him - and there's a lot of birds there to do that )
Do you have anything to put the seed in?

[Souji certainly is tall and long-limbed enough to be a scarecrow. He turns to his desk and retrieves several shallow dishes he got from the closet--which thankfully was cooperative for this request.]
I've got these. I think they'll work alright.

( Otherwise they'd have had another problem. Scott might have known what parakeets ate but Lydia was no bird person. Silently she half fills the dishes that Souji had gotten out, putting the bag of seed down on the desk when she was done before picking up one of the bowls, moving near to the window with it before putting it down on the ledge )
Come on birds. Eat.

[Several of the parakeets did as she instructed, though more because of the seed than the command.
Souji considers, then takes another dish and places it just outside the door to his room. Sure, having the parakeets in the hallway isn't ideal, but at least they won't be in his room anymore. Several birds follow him out as he'd hoped.]

( Up until they disappeared, and hopefully it wouldn't take them long to disappear. Or to just fly off into Wonderland's gardens )
If you went downstairs and took them outside that could work.
( She'd followed him out into the hall, carrying the bag with her in case they had to refill the dish )

( Good job it wasn't a fairy tale it was sounding strange already )
At this point anything sounds worth a try.
( The bag probably wouldn't last all the way downstairs but as long as they were out of Souji's room that would be okay. Moving a little way down the hall Lydia poured a small pile of seed out, walking a little further away and putting another small pile down. Go birds go )

He leaves his door open, hoping stragglers will get the idea and follow.]
...Well, a couple dozen is better than zero. [He extracts a blue parakeet from his hair as he speaks.]

( Although getting another bag of seed- will she be as lucky the second time as she was at getting this one? They'd have to see.
With the first lot of birds eating and a few more slowly coming out Lydia walks a little further down to place some more seed, hoping to entice more )
