[Today is February 14.

The day girls in Japan traditionally give chocolate to guys they like.

Souji is not a girl.

This is not stopping him from taking over part of the kitchen in order to make chocolate.

It will be the best chocolate, if he can stop absently eating the ingredients, which is what the feed is currently capturing him doing as he looks over the recipe he's using.

Anyone want to taste test this stuff?]

[It will be sweeter after he eats the chocolate.

Souji nods and gives Yousuke his portion before making himself comfortable and digging in.]

[Oh ho ho~.]

[He snorts in amusement at Souji's usual zeal for eating before joining him. Of course, it's good. And SPICY. This is going to make his face red, he just knows it... If it wasn't already.]

[Yeah, way too late for that, Yousuke. Fortunately, Souji is not paying attention right now because curry just happened.]

[hgfgkjdfsjk dork. Yousuke allows companionable silence for a little bit while Souji stuff his face, but after awhile he's had enough of that.]

What've you been up to these days? Still making that waffle-place for that girl?

[He talks with food in his cheeks, but at least he covers his mouth while he does so.]

[Souji shakes his head.] I finished it. I'm learning to fold more animals. [You know, animals that aren't cranes.]

[masukukunai]

Really complicated ones? I figure you'd breeze through the really easy stuff.

I'm still practicing the easier ones, but I learned a few hard ones.

[masukukunai]

Like what? Show me.

[eatsyourscience]

[Souji considers, then puts aside his empty plate and moves to get some paper from the closet.

In a few moments, he's produced a frog, a butterfly (blue, of course), and a much more intricate fox. He lines them up carefully between himself and Yousuke.]

[masukukunai]

[Yousuke wasn't expecting an exhibition, but he doesn't have the heart to stop Souji once he gets going. He sort of likes watching him silently work though. He was more focused and diligent than Yousuke could ever hope to be.]

Cool. [He picks up the fox to get a better look.] It's pretty impressive you know all the folds by heart. It looked tough.

The first time, it looked like a bus ran it over.

[Pfft.]

The frog kinda looks like that, but I think it was on purpose.

[eatsyourscience]

Yeah.

There's one that will hop, but I haven't learned it yet.

[masukukunai]

Yeah, I've heard of that one.

[He presses the back of the frog as if it were that kind, but it isn't of course.]

[Souji gathers up the three animals and puts them on Yousuke's window sill. This is where they live now.]

[masukukunai]

[With the cranes? Yousuke puts his cheek in his hand and watches with amusement. Of course, he hadn't moved the cranes either...]

[eatsyourscience]

[Souji will make a whole zoo at this rate. It will be glorious. He taps each crane on the head gently, then comes back to Yousuke and gives him another kiss.]

[masukukunai]

[When they're alone, and it's quiet, and he's just watching him... It's not so surprising. He's growing more and more accustomed to Souji's lips, and to his bangs brushing against his skin, and most importantly, to avoiding smashing their noses together. A little more natural each time.]

[eatsyourscience]

[Souji snakes one hand up to the back of Yousuke's neck, fingering the hair at the nape as he continues to kiss him.]

[masukukunai]

[Yousuke's back arches and his fingers wiggle helplessly when he's touched on the back of his neck. It naturally makes him want to lean forward, but there's only so far to go when you've already got your mouth on someone else's. He tries to make words but it's all just an unintelligible hum against Souji's lips.]

[Souji can't help a small smile and he pulls back a little, though he doesn't lower his hand.]
