Bear with me, this isn't how I'm used to exchanging letters but it's exceptionally handy for picking a bunch of brains at once. I'm curious to know more about the little girl with the cat. You know the one--Alice. From the Wonderland book? Has no eyes now, portends events?

What's the story behind her? Was she an actual person from some other land who was brought here like the rest of us?

Those scenes suggest this isn't the first mansion of its kind, but what happened to her?

I don't think the books are all that accurate to the real place. And she still could wake up and go home. She's been here a really long time, doesn't mean she'll be here forever.

If she hasn't popped off home in 150 years, I get the feeling she's going to need more than a pinch on the arm to get back to where she belongs. The real place seems to have a more stubborn hold than its fictional counterpart.

But assuming the books were based on this world, that must mean someone had some experience with Wonderland or escaped from it and lived to tell the tale. That's something.

Maybe. That's a theory, anyway. On the other hand, there are a lot of people here that are fictional in other people's worlds, so it might be more complicated than that.

There IS that. I've been trying not to think too much about that. Chase that rabbit too far and you end up sitting alone in a room contemplating the futility of everything.

I mean while you're here the futility of everything is pretty legit. You're gonna forget it all anyway.

Aren't we a ray of sunshine. How did we get from Alice might not be here forever to that? Do you have something against keeping your memories intact?

I'd love to keep my memories intact but so far that doesn't seem like an option. You either leave and forget Wonderland or stay and forget everything else.

So we find an Option C.

If stars can plummet from the sky and put on pageant shows, anything is possible.

I've been trying to find option c for like a year and I'm not the person who's been here longest. And nothing's worked yet.

On the bright side, we have all the time in the world to figure it out if it's true time is frozen in place.

It took me over 15 years and 7 escapes to get out of the last place I was stuck in, and it was a lot of trial and error. Mostly error.

But just think about that first breath of fresh air you're going to take when you're out and Wonderland is behind you. It's worth it! This place is already taking memories; don't let it take the hope out of you, too.

[It might be a little too late for that. Dipper doesn't want to resign himself to being here for 15 years. Doesn't want to do that math (27) and figure out exactly how old he'll be while still looking like a child.

Even if he escaped Wonderland at that point and managed to keep his memories, his life would be beyond messed up.]

Alice has been here 150 years and hasn't found a way out.
