That was quite the event. Minato was relieved that it was over when it was over. After he got some rest, he had to check on his friends, check on anyone who needed it, and then just find some way to relax. Try to get back to normal.

So he found himself out at the beach, doing something mundane. The ocean was still enough that he could do this: Skipping rocks.

Well, it happens to be eighteen where I come from, so that's not too far to bend, should the situation warrant it. Or you can celebrate on your birthday, if you'd prefer to wait and you're still stuck. Since time really isn't a thing here and no one ages anyway, I tend to take it on maturity rather than a number.

[Eighteen was just like a year away. He tried to imagine his senpai being able to drink. He hadn't seen any of them do that, though that wasn't to say they hadn't. One for sure didn't.

Well, it's a little hard to guess, just over this thing. Come hang out at the bar sometime and we'll see. I'm usually a pretty quick judge.

Do you think you're mature enough? [ It's asked with mild curiosity, Simon wondering what the young man thinks of it himself. ]

[Officially, anyway, from where he comes from. Minato thought that being here for that long might be something to think about, if it could be helped. Always learning though, that isn't a problem.]

If I do get to drink, what do you recommend?

Depends on what you like. Sweet, sour. Something fruity or something spiced. There's all different kinds. If you like soda, there's some mixed drinks with those that are pretty easy to start out on.

I like cola. So maybe something sweet?

[He wasn't entirely picky though and would try anything. But who knew there was that much variety to alcohol?]
