[There's sound coming through, but it's breathing sounds. Very, very relieved-sounding breathing sounds. And then, a few seconds later, a child's voice pipes up.]

Gotta question. Other than th' obvious "What is this place?", why is it floodin' in this place?

[She'd appeared right in the hallway, underwater, and in a panic managed to find herself in an empty bedroom.]

An' where is everyone? What kinda game is this?

[It may not seem obvious at first, but she doesn't even realize she's got the device on, in her panic. She's merely talking to herself.]

You know, I'm not sure. I'd normally ask for a map, but that probably won't be available...

[He sighs. The lack of closet access has to be, by far, the worst part of this event.]

Closets provide anything and everything you'd want, within reason. So once it stops flooding, you could like, ask the closet for clothes or food or I don't know, video games?

'Course it wouldn't. Can't make it too easy fer newly stranded people, can they?

[She rolls her eyes.]

Video games, huh. It'd be weird t'play one'a those, after spendin' so much time in one. [Wonder how well she'd do in Mario Kart.]

Better'n that. I'm from a video game! S'called Sugar Rush, it's a racin' game.

[After all he's seen, honestly, a girl from a video game isn't that out of place.]

Kinda! Some'a the kids call us th' 'Sugar Mario Kart' game 'cause there's not a Mario Kart in th' arcade here. Jus' a home game one.

Must be pretty high honors, if you're getting that kind of comparison.

[He thinks. Prior to Wonderland, Stefan hadn't really touched video games, let alone what an arcade had to offer.]

Though I'm not sure what you mean by "home game."

It may not be th' best racin' game ever, but I think we come pretty close.

Home games, like... ya know. Yer Nintendos and th' like. Games ya play in yer homes.
