4th Social Link ▫ [Video + Action]

[It's not every day one wakes up and is suddenly inside another body. Or more like Minato was inside a smaller, younger version of his body. He looked like this when he was six years old. It's definitely an event as was announced over the network. But no problem.

There was something on a wall though like a puzzle? But he had to look up, up, and up at it, squinting through the fog. The puzzle was way too high up and no matter how much he tried to jump to reach it, it was not getting any closer.

He had to find something to climb up on. A rolling office chair it was then! That served four purposes:
1) He could move it around easily and adjust the seat up and down to get to places too high to reach
2) He could hide behind it if need be
3) It could be his getaway vehicle if he needed to escape from those monsters
4) The video from the comm device hanging from it would capture where he might be within the foggy laboratory

Thus here's a tiny Minato slowly making his own way through the fog with his trusty rolling chair until he bumps into someone... Is that someone you?]

Oh, sorry... I didn't mean it... Um, are you hurt?

[Pushing a chair with limited visibility is hard and he is profusely sorry for bumping into you! Please feel free to help him reach the puzzle? Or run into him during his travels?]

[A whole rainbow! He'd have to remember that too. All colors had their merits but she just preferred pink. He liked that about her though, that she liked a color that was bright like she was.

He smiled a little (so sorry that he doesn't smile so much when he's little but he's happy, he promises!) and did accept her help in getting to his feet.]

We make a good team. Ne, it's not every day I can say I put together a puzzle with an idol.

[And they were going to put another one together? He did think it was cute since it was such a down to earth activity and she didn't mind at all.]

[She starts to giggle at him.]

That's true! I suppose it's something you can brag about to people. [Then she sends a playful wink his way.] I should say the same thing.

It's not everyday that I get to put together a puzzle with such a nice and caring person like you.

[When she stands up, she carefully follows Minato, pushing the chair in front of them. It really was the perfect shield.]

At least the puzzle pieces are colorful, so they will be easy to spot!

[That compliment makes Minato smile. She really was too kind to him. She didn't have to be, and she still was. It wasn't every day either that he could spend time with a friend, someone he could trust.

Having help to push the chair was good too. It was nice.]

I think so. We'll finish all of them, and find out what they mean.

[Hearing his determination made her feel sure of herself, it was infectious. He was so nice and she felt so safe and secure around Minato.

She really did feel blessed to have met him.]

We certainly will! And we'll be able to return back to our real bodies, too. We'll get through this together, Minato-kun!

Mn, we will. Things will be normal soon.

[Here they go then to the next puzzle! He had to remember what the first one looked like since they were done, then they had more to solve. Those puzzles were giving them locations around the lab, it seemed. They would have to find out what those locations would have.]

[Luckily for them, the puzzles were so colorful that they were pretty easy to spot. Even though they still had to treck through the lab with scary monsters. Not only that, they also had to find the locations.

This was a whole lot harder than what she intially anticipated.

She's glancing around the area, looking for ]

Ah, Minato-kun! I think I see another puzzle.

[Through the fog, Sayaka points at a nearby desk.]

[That's good, there's another one. Minato nodded and helped push the chair along in that direction.]

Okay. Let's go.

[They'd figure this out sooner or later. Sooner would be better.]

Yes! And luckily for us, I don't hear any monsters...

[She helps him push the chair, getting closer to the desk. It was a good thing that he had this since they were going to need to reach the puzzle on top of the desk.]

Would you rather climb, or hold onto the chair? I'm fine with either.

[Yes, thankfully those monsters didn't look like they were going to bother them any time soon. Maybe the one they took care of would distract the other ones away from them.]

I'll hold it. I'll be careful.

[She had to be lighter than he was, even if he was a little short for his age. He couldn't make her hold it, he felt bad doing that to her. But if he held onto the chair, he could make sure that she'd be okay. He'd take care of her that way.]

Okay! Thanks a lot Minato-kun.

[She feels relieved as she climbs onto the chair. She could tell that he really worried about her well being and safety and it made her feel relaxed and secure. Like she didn't have to worry about anything while he was around.

Once she is able to steady herself, she gets onto her tip toes and starts shuffling through the desk, grabbing the puzzle pieces while also accidentally dropping a few onto the ground.]

A-Ah sorry about that! I hope none of those accidentally hit you.

[She then hops down from the chair to pick up the fallen pieces.]

I'm okay.

[None of those pieces had hit him, instead falling to the ground. He helped to collect them too, and luckily the pieces were colorful enough that they could see them even when it was a bit dark.]

Let's put it together here.

[Just in case so they wouldn't have to go too far. Now that they were near that desk, they could also use that to hide from the Amalgamates if they had to.]

Oh thank goodness....

[The moment he said that, she instantly felt relieved. The last thing she wanted to do was accidentally hurt him.

When she steps down from the chair, she immediately starts to help him piece it together by putting the edge pieces together first.]

It's pretty easy now since we put together the first puzzle.

[Minato nodded, agreeing that it would just get easier from here. He was glad that they would get through all the puzzles quickly this way so they could figure out what they meant.]

Just a little more. If you're tired, we can stop and rest too.

If you don't mind, I would love that! Maybe we can even grab a snack to munch on while we rest up.

[Minato's so thoughtful. Thinking about him made her even more determined to put this puzzle together so they could both get themselves out of this situation and return to their normal bodies.]

I think we are almost done, Minato-kun!

[She's practically beaming in delight. She had to admit, the puzzles were pretty fun to piece together.]

[Minato was relieved too that she was in high spirits, though he hadn't doubted that she would always be in high spirits and positive. He didn't think either that it was just her "idol" persona, but really her as a person that was this optimistic.

He smiled too when they did finish putting the last piece together of that puzzle.]

We're good for now? Let's rest a little.

[That way they could be energized and refreshed for the next puzzles coming up.]

Yay!!! Wonderful job finishing the puzzle.

[With a slight sigh of relief she quickly sits down. While sitting on the open floor probably wasn't the best idea (nor was it comfortable), she felt secure around Minato and wasn't even worried about running into those scary monsters.

He had a reliable aura and she felt like no matter the situation they were in, she would always feel safe around him.]

A rest sounds good! Our brains need to relax after doing two puzzles.

I was able to because of you.

[She was such a big help to him, not just for the actual puzzle itself but for her encouragement and being so upbeat. He felt like he could do anything he put his mind to around her.

He sat down on the floor too, letting out a soft breath.]

Mn, we'll figure out the rest later.

[He thought they had time. Events lasted a few days, so there should be time to spare.]

[A slight shade of red starts to form on her cheeks from the compliment, and she's beaming with happiness.]

You're too sweet, Minato-kun.

[She lets out a small yawn, trying to get comfortable. While there were still some worries on her mind, they still had plenty of time to get their bodies back.

With Minato's help, she felt nothing but positive about the situation.]

Yes we will. For now, we should just focus on resting.

[Since they were sitting close, Minato scooted closer to her so she could rest against him. That'd be the best solution now and he'd rather be sitting up like this instead of lying down in case they had to run from those monsters.]

Okay. We'll take our time.

[With that, he let out a very soft breath, almost as if out of relief, and relaxed a little more. It wasn't so bad, hanging out with a friend like this even if the situation and environment weren't exactly friendly.]
