[Early in the morning, the network will be greeted by the video feed of an intense young man in a school uniform. He maintains that intensity as he begins his declarations.]

Good morning, people of wonderland! This is Kiyotaka Ishimaru. If we have not met before, I am a student from Hope's Peak Academy, where I am known as the Super High School Level Public Morals Committee Member! We have endured quite some events lately, haven't we? They have resulted in several delays of this message, but I will not wait any longer and risk becoming a procrastinator! I am addressing you all today to make a few announcements, so listen up!

There are two proposals I would like to put forth. The first is to set up an arrangement that I organized the last time that I was trapped somewhere. Every morning, anyone who so wishes is free to join me in the dining hall for breakfast! There, we can swap information to keep ourselves updated about the mysteries of this place while we prepare for the day!

Secondly, who's up for some serious studying?! I have noticed that there is no formal education system in place in this world, and this is a crying shame! However, in the absence of a school, it is important that we keep our minds sharp. This is no excuse to slack off! So, I think that it is also important to organize study groups. We can meet up in the library regularly and coordinate our studies of the the wealth of knowledge contained there! There may be some language barriers to deal with, as I have noticed that the books in the library do not translate like our spoken words do. However, I am sure that we will be able to work around that! This will also be a valuable opportunity for me to work more on my studies of English, so I welcome the challenge!

[With that, he smiles and practically chuckles.]

Mathematics, you say? I would be thrilled to tutor you in that field, Maizono-kun!

Algebra, geometry, calculus... You name it, I'm the man to help you!!

Thank you so much Ishimaru-kun! I knew I could count on you to help. Let's see... I've never been good with geometry, so I could use some tutoring in that. Measuring dimensions and what not have always confused me.

[She was never one to get excited over math, but seeing Ishimaru's enthusiasm was infecting her and she was feeling a bit excited at the prospect of learning one of her worst subjects, especially if she got to improve at it.]

Math was never my strong point and I'll admit, I never got excited about it in class but... [She giggles, before sending him a serene smile his way.] I'm looking forward to this. B...Because of you.

[There's a bit of a pause as she lets those words sink in. Suddenly, she feels embarrassed, her whole face is heating up as she's stammering with her words.]

And how much we'll learn too, of course!!

B-because of me? [He repeats that for a moment, blushing slightly and being flustered at that. He's never known what it's like to inspire someone that much before.]

A-ah... Such measures are normal for a hard-working type! I am glad that my diligence is successful! And I... I also look forward to all of the learning breakthroughs that we can uncover together!

Y-Yes... [Oh no, she's so embarrassed and she wanted to go hide somewhere. Her whole face felt like it was on fire.] You really inspire me, in a lot of ways!

[She wasn't sure if saying that made the situation better or worse, but it was true, none the less.]

M-Me too. [Sayaka wanted to faceplam, she was still stuttering.] It'll be nice and I think that both of us will learn something new from this too.

I- I am honored to act as an inspiration to such a shining and splendid classmate! [He shouts as his cheeks redden.] I hope to keep on doing my best for you, Maizono-kun!!

If we could both learn from this experience... Yes, that would be excellent! That is what being young and studying is all about!

[You're only going to make her even more red, Ishimaru!]

Y-You flatter me too much. [But she can't stop grinning from ear to ear.] And I'll do the same. Let me continue to do my best for you as well. I'll support you no matter what.

Yeah, you are right! [She can't help but also shout into the video. Volume control, you two...] Because of this place, we have another chance to experience the things we couldn't back home. So, let's make the most we can of our youth.

I am glad that you agree with those sentiments! I am grateful every day for this second chance. [One free from Monokuma and the deaths he's inspired.] Let us truly make the most of it!

Ishimaru-kun! [There was the tiniest trace of a pout forming on her lips, but she let's it slide. Or else she feels like they'd be here all day arguing this silly point. She was certain no one wanted to see their banter over the network.] If anything, I don't sing [~~HA HA HA HA~~] you enough praise. But... [Her pout transforms into a smile.] It makes my heart feel warm and fuzzy that you trust my word, because I fully trust your words too.

Yes, let's! We'll do our best in this place. I want to do all the things we couldn't do back home like, play video games with Nanami-san, eat all the cake, watch a movie and even go on a picnic! I'd like to experience everything and...um, it would make me really happy if we got to do some of those things together...

[Slow down Maizono! But even though she placed her career as an idol above everything else, she had to admit, she did feel like she had more freedom here and that she could live like a normal girl.]

[She's truly being the better person here by putting such an endless debate to a swift end. He just smiles bashfully as he considers her words.]

It- it makes your heart feel such a way? I- I- I- [He stammers for a moment.] I am even more honored by this! My... my own heart is quite pleased!

[Or at least it feels pleased! He's not sure how it works. And then he nods at her further suggestions.]

Ahahaha! Those all sound like interesting activities to explore. Not all at once, of course! We will have to stagger them out to not interfere with studies. But rest assured, I am sure that we will find time for all of those things! If that is the key to happiness, then so be it!

Y-You too? [Now she's stammering with him. She places her hand against her chest, where her heart would be. It felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest at any moment.] I'm so very happy, Ishimaru-kun!

That's a better strategy, anyhow! It'll be better if we spread everything out since it will be more exciting that way and give us things to look forward to! [She immediately starts to giggle at Ishimaru at the mention of studies..] Of course! We have to study first and then play later.

[She goes quiet for a few minutes, as if she were mulling something over.]

Well, I suppose I'll leave you to your planning! I'm sure you'll get plenty of good responses from this idea and um... I'm looking forward to our study date!

[It doesn't take her long to realize what she just and now she's staring at him with wide eyes.

And she's red and is... shouting into the screen.]

Um, I mean... um.. G-G-Goodbye Ishimaru-kun!!!

[WHERE'S THE OFF SWITCH???]

[At first her words are easy to understand and very agreeable!

But then she ends it with that particular word that makes Ishimaru freeze up like a deer in the headlights. There is was again... completely and definitely, the word 'date'.

He still does for a moment think that maybe he might have mishead, or she might have misspoke. But those doubts fade away with the way she reacts afterwards. Sayaka Maizono... She really mentioned a date with him!

Like food coloring filling a glass of water, so too does a red blush start to fill his own face before he speaks again.]

D-date... [he says that with just a low murmur, but then he speaks more clearly and tries to put that behind him.]

Er... Ah... Yes! Y-your input has been very invaluable, and I will be sure to take it all into consideration. Now... ah... remain healthy and take care, Maizono-kun!!

T-Thank you.... you as well o-o-okay? Stay healthy and get plenty of rest and make sure to eat lots of g-good food.

[AT THIS POINT, she doesn't even know what she's saying anymore because she's burning with embarrassment. Ishimaru's blushing face didn't help and she wanted to go hide somewhere and pray that he didn't think she was weird after this conversation.

With that said, she nervously shuts off the network feed and buries her completely reddened face into her hands.

She just hoped that next time, she'll be able to look at him straight in the eye without blushing like a tomato. But she wasn't going to deny, she was very much looking forward to their date.]
