( guess who found the ice cream/soda bar? yeah, it's this girl.
she's processing the whole pocket dimension thing pretty well.even if she wasn't, she wouldn't show you. whaddya take her for?
mj does love being where all the action is. sure, there's the stuck-here-until-the-powers-that-be choose otherwise, but as scarlett o'hara once stated wisely, tomorrow is another day. wonderland's spookiness sounds like tomorrow!mj's problem. maybe. it's hard to get her to take most things seriously.
so have a sparkly and glamorous redhead coming to you live from the ballroom. )
Hiya, Wonderlanders. MJ Watson with a very important question here.
Looks like I'm not going anywhere, so — what's the best floor to live on? What's the worst? Don't skimp on details. If I'm going to need a room and I can make it look any way I want, then I've got to start by making sure I'm on the right floor.
Spill.
( she likes hearing people's opinions. will probably disregard 95% of them, tho. )
( video )
I don't know about the worst floor, but I haven't had any trouble living on the sixth.
( video )
What made you decide on the sixth floor? Was it a random thing or a I'm-gonna-work-on-my-cardio thing?

And other than the mirrors, we're currently cannibal and murderer free in terms of residents... As far as I know, so there aren't really any floors that need a warning label attached. [ /kanye shrug ]

( cannibals tho... )
About these mirrors: are there really creepers peering at us from the other side? ( bc if so, cripes. )

I'm enjoying the seventh floor! I think it depends on what you want to be close to, too. There's a great diner on the eighth, but the first floor has a coffee shop with some amazing cupcakes.
[Her priorities are clearly in order.]

I wouldn't mind the work out if something's tempting enough on the upper floors. I hear there's a nightclub, does it show any promise?

I like the second floor, but I'm there mostly because the rest of my family was already rooming there, so my reasoning isn't really applicable for others.

Say your family wasn't here. What number would you go for? ( she's leaning toward the sixth floor, bc nightclub... )

[That's... Practical.]
When you're in your room, you can't hear what's going on outside, or in the rooms next to you, so the walls must be nice and thick.

There's an amazin' training room on first! A running track and all sorts of fighting rings if you're lookin' to go hard, and a gym with the usual equipment next door if you're just lookin' to warm up.
[The fact that he's currently wearing a brightly-colored sports top might explain the enthusiasm. Being within five steps of a gym is a pretty appealing selling point for an athlete.]

I'm always looking to go hard, hot stuff. ( GO BIG OR GO HOME. and, well, she can't go home. so. )

action, because i do what i want }
Me and my friends are on the fifth. There's a bar down the way if you're into that sort of thing.
yes good
this figure doesn't keep itself ok. )
Thanks, Ms. H! I'm more into the dancing and grooving, but it never hurts to know where else the action is. ( she says it so casually, one would never know her father took to drinking a little too much, and she's never needed that to have a good time. will not turn down a glass of wine tho. )
What made you decide on the fifth floor?

Somewhere in the middle. Close to the stairs.
You'll be high up enough in case something bursts down the mansion's front door then you're not the first one hit, but far enough down, you can still get out of the mansion if you need to. ( same reason that it's good to live near the stairs. )
( audio )
that is definitely a kid who is not talking like a kid. no, her answer is more thoughtful and practical than most. contrary to popular opinion, mj likes interacting with the younger ones and is usually good with kids. y'know, so long as she doesn't have to raise them. ) Say, now that's good advice.
You might've saved a life here, slugger. Close to the stairs. Got it. I've already narrowed it down to floor five or six.

a smile tugs across his face, and he'll just be a creep. and watch for awhile, trying to learn more about her by how she interacts with people and just all of it. she's kind of like this bright ray of sunshine in this otherwise dreary place, how she comes in with a burst of energy and this smile. he speaks up a little later, mostly because he's curious. and totally casual obviously. )
Did you end up deciding on a floor and a room?
( video )
( she's made it up to the third floor by now, and she's checking out the gallery. the door was made entirely of glass and the handle was really shiny: of course mj wasn't going to just walk past it. there's a skip in her step, so the device jostles a little. )
No room yet, but! I've narrowed it down to floors five and six. I'm killing it.

The floor is likely to change with the event, but sometimes Wonderland lets you keep what you've prepared so it's worth putting the effort into it.

A wise and clever girl told me somewhere in the middle, but close to the stairs is ideal, so that's what I'm going with. ( high up enough that if something bursts through wonderland's doors she's not the first one hit, low enough she can still get out if she needs to. )
But thanks for the tip. How likely is the flooring to change?
