[Those who know him can probably hear in his tone that he's legitimately worried about this. It doesn't show on his face, though.]

[Ah yes. In her own Wonderland, of course.]

The Vorpal Sword. It's the only thing that can kill the Jabberwocky.

What on earth for? The Jabberwocky hasn't appeared, has he?

Not recently. But he might come back in the future.

Then he'll be dealt with. Whether or not by the vorpal sword or something else.

It seems like the Vorpal Sword is the only thing that can kill him.

I already knew that. Unless she's particularly dead set on destroying the damnable creature herself for whatever upteenth time, there could possibly be more to it than that.

Unless she's mad on pepper or perhaps did so on behalf of orders- no, that wouldn't be very likely.

It would be a shame if the Jabberwocky did come back again and that sword was completely gone.

[She's so straight-faced at the possibility, it shouldn't be funny, but she hates that damn thing.]

There's still the shield, at least, as long as we can keep it safe.

I didn't realize a shield was effective.

There isn't one in the books, but the Red Queen says it can block anything.

[He's gotten the impression, from their earlier conversations, that her Wonderland is the creation of her own mind. But he doesn't know what all that entails and he doesn't want to make assumptions about it or her. So he hesitates, feeling like he's crossed some line he shouldn't have.]

Wonderland is a little different in a lot of worlds than in yours, I guess. In my world, it was in a book.
