[It took two days for Tohru to heal and awaken, which is at least one more day than many people might have expected of her. Tragically, she was killed once before though, and this is her second death, and thus requires an additional day.
Late at night on November 1st, air rushes into Tohru's lungs and she jolts awake, sitting upright as adrenaline courses through her. But Angelus is gone, and she is alone in her room. She touche her neck gently, expecting it to hurt, but the wound has healed. She is alive again, though she is sticky from the blood she had been laying in and more than a little shaken.
She keeps to herself for much of the day on the 2nd, still unsure of how okay she truly is. Death is always...difficult, for many reasons. It leaves her thinking about a lot of difficult things. She spends much of the night talking to her mother's picture, seeking imaginary comfort from it. She showers and washes all the blood from her hair, and exchanges her sheets for clean ones because something about the mundaneness of making her bed is calming.
It is a while before she can approach the network without trembling, but eventually she does. At first she isn't certain what she wants to say, or how much she wants to reveal to the public at large, but...she feels she should say something. Her usual energy is gone, and she's quieter today. Upon reflection, she realizes there's really only one thing she wants to say at all.]
Um...hello everyone. I...I-I just wanted to, ah.
[She looks down at the floor.]
I just wanted...I wanted to thank whoever moved me, a-and put me in my bed. Thank you very much. I don't know who you are, but...it was really kind of you.
[That's all. She shuts off the feed after that. Video replies as well as action threads are welcome - she'll be keeping to her room today, and then returning to the diner by the 4th.]

[ :'( ]
video;
[She probably shouldn't be apologizing, but she wouldn't be her if she didn't.]
video;
You didn't. It's okay.
[He would hug her if this were in person.]
Can I do anything for you? I can make dinner.
video;
[Souji, you should probably go make her dinner anyway.]
video;
It's not. Is curry rice okay?
video;
Mm. Curry rice is okay with me. Thank you very much, Souji. I really appreciate it...
video;
Will you be in your room?
video;
[And she doesn't plan on going anywhere...at least, not right now.]
video; --> action;
[And indeed, it's about half an hour later when he knocks at her door. He's got plenty of curry rice for them both (since he knows she won't eat if he isn't).]
action;
Souji, it's good to see you! Please, come inside. Thank you so much for coming.
action;
I made it a little spicy. I hope that's okay.
action;
That's okay. I don't mind it a little spicy. Ah, please, make yourself at home.
[The only place to sit really is a small, low, Japanese style-table to one side of the room. Tohru is more prone to visiting others than having guests herself, so aside from that table it's mostly just set up like a bedroom. She sleeps here, but otherwise doesn't spend much time lurking in her room under normal circumstances.]
action;
[Souji takes the room in, then decides to just offer her plate directly to her. Then she can settle in wherever she likes.
As for him, he takes a seat on the floor. He used to sitting on the floor at home and in his own room in the Mansion, so it's not out of his way. He sets his plate down long enough to put his hands together and do the normal Japanese "itadakimasu" thing, then starts to eat. He drops that kind of thing around most people these days, but in front of other people from contemporary Japan, he feels comfortable to do it. It's kind of a nice feeling, like a reminder of where he's from.
He wants things to feel as normal as possible. He wants to ask about what happened, but he doesn't want to push Tohru, especially not before she's ready. As though it's something anyone can ever by ready to talk about.]
action;
There's so much comfort in the normalcy.
She hasn't eaten much since everything happened, and even when she accepted Souji's offer she wasn't sure she would be, but now that the plate is in front of her she feels like she can stomach food. So, she takes a bite.]
...Mm! This is really good!
action;
Thanks.
[After a few bites, he speaks again.]
What's your favorite meal?
action;
[And indeed, it takes her a minute to think of something.]
I think my favorite thing is probably soba at the end of the year. It's simple, but it has a lot of good memories associated with it.
What about you, Souji?
action;
Souji has to consider, too, when she asks the same thing of him.]
I really like beef bowls. And croquettes.
action;
[Translation: You will be receiving "thank you for looking after me" croquettes when she's feeling better.]
action;
Once you stop being afraid of splashing the oil on yourself. When I was younger, I did that a couple times before I figured out how to do it right.
